LMAO. Uwe Boll wants to challenge everyone who has a bad opinion of him...I guess he better challenge a huge majority of the population in the world!
LMAO @ jahcure! thanks for that. I needed a laugh very badly... bubbles commin your way
I completely agree with you. Bubbles for bringing up Sushi-X!
Wow you took me way back with that one...thanks! (tear drop! lol)
I can still remember playing GTA, GTA2 and London edition on PS1. I loved those games! Funny thing is, that my brother saw potential but wasn't interested in them. He said "They should make them in 3-D." This was way before GTA 3 was even announced.
Enter 2001. GTA3 was announced at E3...but mostly everyone was anticipating Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy 10. I was one of those people that were waiting for those 3 AAA games. My brother on the other h...
LOL. Exactly.
Yeah I have both consoles but will be getting the PS3 version. I actually plan on selling my 360 so that I can focus only on PS3. I'll probably buy another 360 down the line though.
@ POG
Thanks for your reply. However, no where in my post did I spread "false" info. My comment was not absolute.
"Unless the DLC content adds to the actual gameplay (i.e. Playing a taxi driver, firefighter, etc.) and not just adds missions, I don't see it as a selling point to a casual gamer. It will cater only to the hardcore."
I was saying that unless the DLC was significant enough to add on to the gameplay, than it wouldn't be t...
I don't think DLC content will be that big with a casual gamer.
Most people that are not part of the hardcore crowd will be turned off by not only paying $60 plus dollars for the game, but then they'll have to pay an additional fee (probably between $5-$15 bucks?) for additional content for a game that they have yet to finish? (remember casual players will not be investing 50 hours on a game)
Unless the DLC content adds to the actual gameplay (i.e. Playing a taxi dr...
Where's Shaq Fu or that Michael Jordan game???? lol
That's an impressive feat. However, Square is probably going to threaten to take legal action against the (re)maker of the game. Just like did to that team that was remaking Chrono Trigger in 3-D.
No thanks. I'd rather spend that 50 bucks on Blu Ray movies or games. Buying anything related to HD-DVD would be a waste of money...well unless you want to salvage one as a collectors item.
I bet when I log on to N4G tomorrow, the scorching hot report is going to be "In-game XMB Confirmed" lol!
Well maybe not tomorrow but one of these days!
I completely agree. Had I read your comment before, I wouldn't have posted something similar below! lol
Sorry but Toshiba is in no position to be predicting anything when their format has just kicked the bucket.
As far as downloading movies, that's simple not for me. I would rather have the disc and case in hand, not on a hard drive. Especially if I want to sell the movie, I could anytime. How are you supposed to sell a digitally downloaded movie????
This shirt not only shows that Sony has a sense of humor, but also it acknowledges that they DO listen to the pleas of their users. In game XMB is only a matter of time.
LOL! Your posts always crack me up! Bubbles for you sir.
I just picked up my copy this weekend. It's an awesome game! Amazing graphics. I've been a fan of Unreal Tournament since the first one and I continue to enjoy the series.
I honestly experienced no lag while playing in a room with 15 other people. It's quite a feat, especially since I downgraded my internet connection to the lowest possible speed!
I'm actually going to have to disagree with you.
Digital downloads will not be taking off anytime soon or in the near future. The bandwith required for prompt downloads is not quite there yet. Well there are high speeds but they are expensive and the average person will not pay a premium price for high speeds to "rent" movies. Add in the fact that there would possibly be storage issues (especially if they plan to add 1080p digital downloadable movies). Many people would...
The article has truth to it and it's pretty much obvious that MS will have to respond with a Blu-Ray add on. If they don't, then Sony would most definitely use the failure of HD-DVD against them.
Oh and in response to MS's comments about games selling consoles...yeah it's true that games do sell consoles, but two advantages that Sony has in addition to games is that they have included a Blu-Ray player, and the "Playstation" name. Throw in the built in Wi-Fi, ability to ...
After checking the titles listed for the PS3 and 360....I think the reason they had GTA4 in the 360 section and not in the PS3 section is simple because the 360 doesn't have has many exclusives (or at least according to this list). The list they comprised for the 360 is full of games that are also available on the PS3.
Over half the games listed in the PS3 section are console exclusive.
WOW...if that's pre-alpha....what the heck is the final product gonna look like??? Maybe we'll need special glasses for the retina burning graphics!
I am VERY impressed.
