The previous slim lines were released 4 or 5 years after the console launched. PS2 slim was released in 2004. PSONE was released in 2000. I thought Sony would follow suit with the PS3.
Hey I'm not complaining though!
I always thought it was too soon to have a PS3 slim. It hasn't even been out for a full 3 years yet. Don't they release a slim version about 4 or 5 years into the life of the system?
The Square(soft) name used to be synonymous with quality. Now they are nothing but a joke with their crappy and mediocre RPG's being released as of late.
Their downfall started ever since Square merged with Enix. CURSE THAT DAY! lol
Long live Squaresoft. Eff Square Enix.
He was just the first person to pop into my head after reading the cliffhanger article title.
Before I even click into the story from the main page, I already knew it was Daigo.
He is not only the best Street Fighter player in the world, but has the most AMAZING and EPIC comebacks in video game history!
I agree. It's stupid to compare a console to a handheld. It's also stupid to compare console's and PC's. The three of them are completely different markets.
I don't think Raiden is emo. In 2001, when MGS2 was released, emo wasn't even a word nor a "genre" of music.
Why is it that everyone that express's emotion, is called "emo?"
Anyways, a game with Raiden in his "bad ass" state would be great. Either a prequel to MGS5, or a whole new series with Raiden.
Don't hurt 'em TOO bad Sony! ;)
This mofo is persistent in his idiotic campaign of censorship. Ban? First amendment protects us from dictator mentality like Thompson's.
A lot of people were saying that this day would come last year. The naysayers said "NEVER."
Well... here we are today with screen shots of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the PS3!
I got Sigma, and will most definitely be getting Sigma 2.
Now that Itagaki is gone from Team Ninja, maybe we'll also be seeing future DOA games on PS3 as well. The director of Sigma loves PS3.
That probably explains why I want to go there so bad! I love japanese food. I'm gonna roll out of the airport and ask the taxi driver "take me to a place where I can get some terriyaki chicken and some hentai STAT!" lol
on topic. Cammy's a ho? Nice.
p.s. OH SH!T!!! That youtube clip is from the SF cartoon from the early-mid 90's! I used to watch that every Saturday on USA.
I agree with you on her inconsistent AI.
In my experience though, her AI was pretty helpful. I didn't really encounter problems with her until the last few chapters. I did yell at her a couple of times.. "STUPID B!TCH!" lol. Other than that, she was great.
I'm gonna play through again in online co-op next time.
I got this game technically for $40 at Toys R Us because it came with a $20 gift card.
I beat it 2 days ago. The controls weren't that awkward at all for me. I'm a Resident Evil veteran. I changed the controls to Type A which is the same controls as RE4.
This game was pretty good to be honest. It had a few surprises from RE 1 & 2. So in that sense, that made this "Resident Evil" a little more relevant than say RE4. Also, Umbrella is mentioned more in th...

ouuuu Glendale? I was born there living in Northridge now!
I preordered mine on Amazon with "Release Date" shipping. Hopefully I get it a day early!
If Gears of War 2 is the peak of the iceberg in terms of graphics on the 360, the 360 became graphically obsolete in Dec. 2007.
There was a game called Unreal Tournament 3 that was released on the PS3 with the exact same graphics as Gears 1 and 2 (big buff overly bumped mapped people).
Really, 360 owners want to talk about Gears only being possible on the 360 need to get a reality check.
Last gen, Xbox was graphically superior, this gen it's PS3. Case c...
Did you try changing the controls to "Alternate 2?" If you do, I think those controls are perfect. It's just like the other FPS's on the PS3. L1 is for zoom, R1 is to fire, R3 is for melee, etc.
Select that, and click the "Zoom Hold" button, and you're all set!
Were you playing on an HD set, with surround sound and with a dual shock 3?
For me and many others, the audio/visual assault on the player's senses is second to none. I was blown the f$@k away. No game captures the brutality of war like Killzone 2 does. Those 10 min playing the demo grabbed hold of me and never let me go.
Graphics and sound are godly. This game must be experienced in HD, 5.1 sound or better and with a Dual Shock 3 to truly appreciate it.
Rhona Mitra was the first Lara Croft model. I remember my issue of PSX magazine covering E3 97 and she was the model for Lara Croft!
She would be great.
I think RGB must have been off on the PS3 version. Still looks very good for a multiplatform game engine.
