It doesn't matter how many countries each is in, they can only supply as many as they can make. Sony may be in more countries but that doesn't mean they had more supply. Many of of them have a shortage of PS4s. Here in Australia we are waiting for the third shipment to arrive in February.
I'm a big Sony fan but I kinda hope this fails. I don't like the idea of being able to play Playstation games on other devices. You should need a Playstation to play them. If it's only Sony devices then it's not as bad but not sure if it is or isn't. And I still don't like the idea of being able to play Playstation games on anything other than Playstation. And it still makes the PS3 redundant now. Which sucks.
If this is successful then what if Sony completely abandons consoles after PS4 and instead just has a streaming service to all devices? I would hate that.
Well if they do that then I don't think I'd support Sony anymore. I do not like that at all. Would consider switching to Xbox if that happened.

Isn't it 5 megabytes (MB) not megabits (Mb). 5MB is 40Mb. I get about 40Mb with PS3, sometimes less sometimes more.

Not what I expected but still sounds fun. I don't care that it's a FPS.
I have more interest in the Vita's games than 3DS games. I love my Vita and it's really a great piece of hardware that has some great games. But I do think it doesn't have a lot and needs more. Hopefully we'll see a lot more Vita only exclusives this year.
No, they did not. I check the site every day. The 2.5 number they had was only up to the 21st. The 2.9 number is up to the 28th. And they had the 2.9 up before Microsoft announced the 3 million. Add the extra 3 days and it would be over 3 million. They got it pretty spot on.
The 3DS did receive a good amount of games in 2013 but the overwhelming majority just aren't my type, which is why I don't have one. I will get one if it gets some games that I like.
What amazing exclusives? I really don't understand what is so great about another Mario or Nintendo's other exclusives. I liked Mario when I was a kid but now I just think they're boring and the same. Not trying to bash Nintendo I just don't get the obsession with Mario and their other exclusives.
Part of me wants a Wii U and I've tried to convince myself to get one but Nintendo's IPs just don't do anything for me.
The Wii U made a remarkable turnaround? What? Where? It sold terribly for the majority of the year and just got a boost for the holidays. Yeah it got a few more titles like Super Mario 3D, but still not many. Where is the "remarkable turnaround"? The 3DS did excellent though.
Yeah, there are almost as many God of War games. But Sony also creates a lot of new IPs too though. My point was that Microsoft gets criticized for relying on Halo (and Gears) so much. But Nintendo always gets a pass.
I don't mind how many installments there are in a franchise either. What I don't like is when they rely so heavily on the same few franchises again and again and don't create many new IPs at the same time. That's what I don't like.
It is not intolerance. People have legitimate, deeply held beliefs, many religious. They don't hate gay people, they don't wish to see harm come to them, they just have a moral disagreement. That is far different to racists who just straight up hate and want harm to come to people of other races for no reason. Being tolerant doesn't mean you have to agree with everyone and everything everyone does.
I'm a big fan of Sony and I don't like Microsoft, and I wasn't planning on getting an X1. But I don't really like what Sony is doing with Playstation Now, and it makes me nervous about what the future of Playstation is, so I'll probably get an X1 too now. We'll see.
