I love Sony but the decision not to include a 4k blu-ray player is just stupid and I don't understand. I'm not going to defend that decision and I'm disappointed.
When did this come out? All I hear is my sister and everyone going crazy over it. I personally don't like Pokemon.
I don't like that they're releasing all their exclusives on PC as it gives many people less reason to buy an XB1. The move might be good for Microsoft but it's gonna hurt XB1 to some level. Like I said, I like getting both consoles and always have, but just can't justify getting an XB1 now.
No, but I was planning on building one and also buying an XB1. But now I'll use the money I would have spent on an XB1 and put it towards my PC. I'm sure I'm not alone.
@Fin_The_Human
I didn't say I'll be building a $299 one, I said I'll be putting that money towards it.
Good, keep doing what you're doing. Don't like where Microsoft is going. You can currently get an XB1 really cheap here in Australia, and I wanted one because I always get both consoles, but I still can't justify getting one because all the exclusives will be on PC.
I love Uncharted but I can see some of his points. Also, it seemed to me that 4 had A LOT more climbing than the others.
One thing I don't like about Uncharted fans is it seems you're not allowed to criticise it or you're a "hater". Very annoying. Excellent games but they're not perfect.
Nah, I'm good with my current PS4. The games already look beautiful on it, and I can't wait for Horizon and God of War. And I don't have a 4k TV anyway and I won't be getting one for quite a while.
I really worry that we will start to see Neo exclusives eventually or the original PS4 versions of games will suffer. I still personally don't like these mid-gen upgrades. More than happy with how the current console generation cycle works.
I'm a CoD fan and I usually get it each year, but this year I'm probably gonna give it a miss, and if I do get it it won't be until months after release. I'm just not excited about another futuristic shooter. I wanted a WW1/2 one and Battlefield 1 just looks awesome! Will be getting that instead this time.
I'm happy with my current PS4 and will just wait for the PS5. So many great looking games coming I don't see the point in upgrading.
I don't know what it is. I said it was a mid-gen upgrade since it's an XB1 as far as I know. Xbox gamers can't make up their mind though. One minute they're saying it's the next-gen console and the next they're saying it's a mid-gen upgrade.
Female characters won't be in multiplayer of a WW1 game. Oh the horror! I bet your average female gamer won't even give a crap. So tired of feminists and SJWs always being outraged and sucking the fun out of everything. Just go away and be angry by yourself.
Good on the UK. Take back your sovereignty. Hopefully other EU countries follow.
How many Neo/Scorpio articles do we need?
Lol, no they didn't. It was good but Sony definitely had the better one. Sony's was one of the best conferences I've seen.
Yes, people will still buy XB1, but I think they're hurting it by releasing all games on PC too.
I wanted an XB1 and there is currently a bundle deal for just $300 here in Australia, which is VERY cheap and I was thinking of getting it. But I've decided not to because I just can't justify it now. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Even if the Neo is weaker than Scorpio I still don't think it will hurt it. The Neo will have the PS4s already strong success to push it and it'll have an entire year to sell before the Scorpio arrives.
Still hate both these consoles and wish we weren't getting them though. Sounds like Microsoft is done with the traditional console cycle and we'll be getting these upgrades every 3-4 years.
Can someone tell me where all this excitement for mid-gem upgrades came from? Before we heard news of Scorpio and Neo, console gamers seemed happy with the current console generation cycle. I heard no major calls from them demanding this. Console gamers used the fact that the console generations lasted at least 5 or 6 years and not having upgrades as one of the major positives. I hate these upgrades.
This is one of the things I'm worried about and why I hate them. The current PS4 and XB1 are just fine.
Sure Phil. If XB1 was ahead of PS4 we'd be hearing it all the time.
Love Sony but their decision not to include a 4k blu-ray player was stupid. I still buy blu-rays and will continue to buy physical media.
