The war economy is one of the reason for present day war.
Remember one man's freedom is another man's slavery.
But war has always been the same throughout history.
And this is my saying...War is waged by the few and fought by the many.
Warhammer 40K has been around at least a decade if not more before Gears. It's more like Gears has borrow ideas from 40K, the mood of the atmosphere, the locust is actually more like the genestealers as so on.
Gears story and universe is lacking when you put it against Warhammer 40K.
Perhaps these companies are experiementing with different means to reduce the growing used game marketm, because they hate the used game market since it limits their full profit potential.
Back then you when you bought a used game it was a complete game, but now it's only half a game and since you already dished out extra for the other half (DLC), you might as well keep the game since it will be useless without the first half. Therefore limiting the number of used game...
How I see it with MOVE and Kinect:
MOVE is a laser guided missle with high precision
Kinect is carpet bombing
Star Gate - SG1 anyone?
Amiga 500 was such a beast! Some many great games - IK+, the Cinemaware games such as Defender of the Crown, Wings, Lords of the Rising Sun.
The list just keeps going and going, many I want to play some these games now!
And last I checked we do not have the same gang problems as other countries and our gun law is amongst the strictest in the world.
Melbourne is ranked in the top 5 most livable city in the world so I think you need to do a bit more research about Australia before sayings things like that.
Rise of the Rebel Alliance?....lol

My first x360 lasted only 10 minutes, got an exchange for a new one and that lasted 10 months! After that no more x360 for me, as for my PS3 launch model still going strong.
Because it may happen some how if you believe everything you read on the internet
This site was an xbox360 stronghold a few years back make no mistake about it but I guess times have changed.
It also doesn't help for the xbox360 camp when blu-ray won the format war, that was the beginning. Then came all the exclusives and the PS3 slim.
I remember those times.
That's true but how long before that happens is the question.
Here's a link for the PS3 to give you an idea.

Like the article states, the balls in MS court.
I guess this is where MS's 40 million consoles shipped comes from. Same customer base just repeated buyers.
LOL
So they make a complete game and sell you 70% for a full price and then charge you and additional 30% of the remaining game that will probably cost the same as a full price game.
Way to go Ubisoft at the end of the day charging 1 game at double the cost.
Screwing the consumer is the way of the future so it seems!
