That line was crossed long ago with consumer tech, and since some companies can get away with it. It has turned into a situation where all companies will start to do it. For exapmle, a certain fruit company charging $1000 for a monitor stand, which is pretty outrages. So this is not unique to only the gaming console sphere and being in Australia, I remember an RTX 3080 TI cost $2700-$3200!!! That's just for the GPU alone.

Why all the disagrees? This game did push the agenda and the dev attacked gamers because we didn't like what they were serving. The First Desendants on Steam had tens of thousands of playes in their beta with no DEI woke nonsesne. Remind me how many players this game got during the closed beta, open beta and after release. Don't you know the new QA norm for big gaming comanies now? Put more money into marketing it, hire people based on DEI, get suckers to pay more money for the uber edition to be the actual QA tester (early access), pay or butter up some game journos for protection and of course attack anyone who disagree or dislike the game!

I think you're right. Looking at this character I have the feeling she is more middle eastern and would fit that setting but in a scandanavian setting?? Unless there's a back story to her character, I think she's been DEI'fied to check those boxes.
