1X version no doubt, cheapest setup for 4k gaming. On top of that Microsoft will provide superior servers.

It's just a mode
It is very fun. I think they did a very good job avoiding any direct competition with Overwatch.
Only $30 a year and I get games nearly free? Eh, I don't mind being called corporate shill. But then you're advocating for something more expensive so what does that make you?
They try to inform us of the new features yet have a shitty background music and fast paced scenes that we can't understand what they're trying to inform us on. Also, why can't they just work on the core physics of the game and stop with all the new strategic mechanics and features. Every year it's a cheese factory. The fcking UI is TERRIBLE! In mut it's clunky af and very inefficient to navigate.
I enjoyed the crap out of this series back in high school and after playing it for a while it just didn't' feel the same. So much has changed better games have launched but still a solid title.
Even $30 a year for all that gaming, fangirls will always find an excuse to downplay it. At least they can stream their games which in their opinion would be better because their leaders told them so.
Why the downvotes it's better for all gamers and will only be an option. Whoever has tried EA Access will know this is true.
Just another excuse to get milk any brand using their brand I guess.
It's just my opinion based off what Microsoft is providing on the development side and what either company built their hardware for. I'm sure you don't believe Sony built PS4 Pro for full 4k support or for significant increases from PS4 versions.
I think Sony will play the marketing game til' next year, and milk the strong PS4 base they have til' they announce another version of PS4 that matches 1X. It will not be a smart move for them to waste money on ...
@Genuine-User
No, I think Sony will be the one slow at supporting the Pro. They would rather put more support behind PS4 for now, while Microsoft with it's tools will make it easier for devs to fully support a 1x version of their game very early. Nothing to do with choice or marketing rights but tools, and Sony lacks this area for 4k gaming and overall power between consoles.
Even with all those down votes that fact will only grow truer. I mean you weren't even being rude.
Although a good niche titles, JRPGs just doesn't have that mass appeal and there is nothing wrong with that. As long as there is a niche market for it, it will do fine. Just don't think it will have it's mass appeal it use to have on PS2 because the size of gaming compared to today is very small. So Pachter for once has a point but then again tell us something ...
Only for it's exclusives, I don't see other reason to pick it up with what little support it will further get after 1X launches.
Well it makes a lot of sense because last generation is different from today's online gaming services, and why it makes sense that' they would release mid-gen consoles.
Evil Within 2 4k? OMG!
Do they? it's mostly action adventure and ...
@TheOptimist
Even if that were all true for most gamers out there that want the leap over to potential 4k gaming can get it easily for $500 dollars no hassle and you don't have to sell your laptop or mid-spec gaming rig. Fact. Btw you can enjoy Playanywhere on top of that.

So true, I still remember Bungie ALWAYS getting the same negative sentiment until they left. Shows the actual reason people complain to anyone developing Halo, mostly gamers who NEVER played Halo.
This is a journalist class, Fake News have no journalist. They're political activist hacks!
It's going to come to PS4 but like Tomb Raider, it might take a while and if it becomes more successful no doubt Microsoft will pay for marketing rights when it does launch on PS4.
