True, but things change and consumers can still hold their compnaies accountable by allowing us to sell our games or trade em'. I think it could be more convenient in an all-digital age.
@naruga Just put in your ext. HDD. It's no different from a disc, also games will no doubt get cheaper once digital becomes the way to buy games.
Going by the X it seems their focus is on hardcore gamer sentiment now. I mean it's been more than a decade since we've since this talk or effort from them. So with the success of the X, I'd give them a break this time only to see what they will reveal next E3. But this is the last E3 I get my hopes up only because of the X, there should be no excuse come E3 2018. None.

Anyways this has more to do with real-estate and who's going to pay the bill for it. There are indeed both sides and both are filthy rich and too greedy to pay up even though it means well for everybody involved, us (gamers) included. Basically the Telecoms Vs Internet-related service companies.

If it means forcing billion dollar game publishers investing in faster internet speeds, I don't mind. We're all in one lane and big corps like Netflix and Amazon need to move into their own lanes and help us get to cheaper fiber speeds.
Yes, this is the console we've been waiting for. Hope we get games next E3 to show it off otherwise it'll be a complete waste! It needs exclusive features most likely in AI, like an RPG game.
Totally agree but then it should be a risk making only exclusive for the X otherwise all that power is for nothing. I don't to be playing enhancements because of the lower common denominator. Matters of fact I'd prefere be a play anywhere exclusive where only high-end PCs can play the game.

Halo had a perfect balance of SP and MP showing it can be done but very difficult.
It just feels like cheap gameplay, nothing interesting.
It doesn't matter much anyways, I think Microsoft sees this as a success considering they have been pushing their base towards digital purchases anyways.
