I went all digital for this current gen because disks are just installers and not complete, bug free games. After the install and during the games lifetime there are countless patches and add-ons so having a disk for prosperity means little anymore. If I install the game again 10 years from now I only get the 1.0 version of the game without the patches or add-ons. Likely the servers were shutdown and I can't get the patches anymore.

It would. We could have a completely virtual E3 - with press conferences (more like Nintendo Directs), game demos, etc. All streamed via the respective streaming and game streaming platforms.
Everybody gets to participate and feel a part of the E3 spectacle.
How about put all that game streaming technology to use and allow everyone to stream game demos that would have been shown on the show floor? That way no long lines to try upcoming games and everyone gets an opportunity to try these out.

Yes, totally worth it if you have the space. I "have" to have that new Star Wars cabinet with flight yoke. I played those games in the arcades in the 80's and will make space for that cabinet!
I love E3 and would hate to see it go. It is/was the Gamer's Superbowl. However, in this age of cloud streaming of games I really wish they would create a virtual E3 where Gamer's could stream show floor demos. That would be epic to be able to see and try games on the show floor without even attending. No lines as well!

What a stupid comment! Single player games are not going anywhere. There is a market for both single player and multiplayer - just ask Nintendo and Naughty Dog. Also, unless you have ample time on your hands then most have to work/go to school and don't have time to commit to multiple multiplayer only games.

I know the game was developed with 30FPS in mind but that is "developer speak" for the system cannot handle 60FPS because the CPU is too weak.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this game on my PS4 Pro and will enjoy at 4k checkerboard rendering. I just wish the Pro could deliver a 60FPS option.

Oh the glory days of 3DFX Voodoo! I too eagerly awaited all the Glide API patches - Quake blew me away back in the day!
Anyway, I haven't picked up PSVR yet but I tried it a few times as was truly impressed by the immersion. Looking forward to picking one up in the next year. I have PS4 Pro coming Nov. 10 so PSVR should be even better than what I have seen so far.

I am one of those people with state-of-the-art equipment and using a game console to play UHD blu-rays is NOT state-of-the-art. I'll be getting OPPO's new UHD player in January when it releases.
I think casual watchers of movies would appreciate the inclusion in the PS4 Pro but most just want better looking/running games.

Well I think you may be in the minority here as the game is sitting at #4 on Amazon's top 100 video games as of this comment - so most normal people just want to play great games it seems and don't get caught up in a misguided crusade against a videogame because some people got to play it before you.
