PC using dvd means nothing because all the data are installed into a single folder. While on console, you need to run the information off the disc.
Microsoft will not allow a full installation as a standard where you have all the data in one place because not every 360 has a harddrive.

I do agree for the best BF experience, it's PC. I've always enjoy the BF games. I might get BF3 on PS3 and when I can in the future, BF3 for PC.

Highly doubt it. Console gaming is popular for many reasons. It's fast and easier to get started. A lot of people don't want to invest the time in dealing with the computer when issues arise or figuring out compatibility issues. Updating multiple drivers. Etc.
Second, when you buy the game, you know it will work and don't have to figure out the specs and how great/shitty the game might look on your PC.
