You really should, some of the puzzles can be repetitive and frustrating but the story keeps pulling me back in.
Do you own a DS or played on a DS? It's a very good game but sadly a sleeper title. Professor Layton is a puzzle game with a story. It's quite popular that there is an anime movie coming out in 2010 based on the game. In Japan, the entire trilogy is done. US will be receiving the second installment soon enough.
The game is developed by Level 5.
This game is reallly good. I love it, one of the main reason why I don't want to really see Level 5 become first party. It works on the DS.
Look at the bright side Colbert. 360 and PS3 gamers can unite together on a common hate something like Jack Thompson. We need to take this less than average IQ human? out.
Don't try to understand pp. You will lose a lot of brain cells trying to comprehend his fanboyism.
2 Blu-ray disc of content. The 3rd is a DVD with the digital copy of the movie.
You don't have to pay $30. Just search around online, a helpful site is slickdeals.net, just go to the hot deal section and filter it by DVD. You'll find sales and deals on bluray.
I pay roughly ~20 for my blurays. 23 for dark knight.
Don't be so quick to judge. You haven't played the game, and I haven't played the game. As far as I can see, this game is going to be good and there seems to be some Monster Hunter element in the online play = win for me.
Hang in there, you can't die before the game is release.
So what will happen to Professor Layton, I know it's done in Japan but will the final game make it to US?
I hope and believe WKC will be successful.
Nope this list fails, Sorry TIME. GTA4 is far from the greatest game of 2008. MGS4 isn't up there and neither is Valkyria Chronicles. I think Fable 2 should at least be up there too.
Either way, Sony didn't want to go into a pissing contest on who can throw the most money away. Why continue to invest in franchises that been around for a long time and losing creativity when you can take those money and make new game or invest else where?
I've said this before, it's time to move on from these sequels/prequels (some are nice, but not too many) and try to establish a new IP. When Final Fantasy XX comes out, do you think it will have the same appeal when you first...
The bigger they are, the harder they will fall.
Buy what you will regret the least.
Bubble for you Pirate, I don't understand how you got banned into Open Zone. Many of your comments aren't bias and have facts to it.
How old are you? 10? 12? Can't be older than 13...
You're right that a 50gig game vs. 9gig game isn't always better but my point is it's downgrading from the potential experiences. Rage is another example from 5 wastelands to 2.
It's up to the developer to take advantage of space but I don't think developers should have their hands tie just to put the game on both consoles.
It's not all about standing in one place and mashing button. Besides, it's all personal preference. I personally do not like western RPG. They are usually create a character, run around doing side quest, and a very dull story.
I did enjoy Fable though.
I think it might be the other way around. After seeing what Square is doing, Sony decides it's time to do something about it. Rather than compete with Microsoft in throwing money to Square, Sony made a smarter decision to go with more first/second parties games. This way, there are stronger tie to Sony and better quality.
If you want something done right, you do it yourself.
Especially looking at recent Square Enix performance, it's all remakes and mediocore games.
For the most part, great list. DBZ should be replaced by Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm for runner up. Personally I feel VC and PoP should be 1 and 2 respectively.
