This article fails in SO many ways
No1: This game was lunched on the PS3 which is significantly more expensive then PS2 - that affects sales
No2: Which means less user base - which again affects sales
No3: FFX and FF12 sold those figures at the end of the Week NOT in one day!
No4: FF13 retail cost is far more expensive then most others Games so taking that into account its success on day 1 alone is AMAZING

Forza 3 does look like Forza 2 'In-game' just like how Gaylo: Rehash will look the same as Gaylo 3 (although the trailer looked worse lol)
GT5p eats Forza 3 for breakfast and makes it look like a Wii game, even the recent most heavily compressed GT5 Academy demo makes it look like a Wii game.
Sony themselves said that the 'PHYSICS DEMO' isn't a representation of the final game but Phff! whatever you say bots, because we all know that when PD truly show off the real final build of GT5 you guys won't even show up on that day and when you do show you'll be like 'Butz teh demoz suckedzz' lol.

That's because this isn't a demo of the final product it's a demo for the new physics which by the way feels so real and for a totally compressed demo it looks better than Forza 3's final build imo.
The car model in the demo only has 200,000 polygons whereas the final game it'll have 400,000 polygons as confirmed by Yamauchi-San. Sony themselves said that the demo is mostly centred around the Academy and the physics and is not a representation of the final game.

Jamaiacngmr is right this isn't a build of the final GT5 it's only a free download from the PSN to get people in to the Academy (or anyone who's interested) hence why PD said the only new thing anyone will 'feel' in this demo are the physics but apart from that everything is pretty old and looks nothing like the build Yamauchi's currently working on.
