Are you an idiot or what? running PS2 games and PS1 games at 60HZ or 50HZ is a piece of cake but today's graphics have taken a leap so to run a current gen game at a solid 60Hz will always be hard and tough to achieve.
You people think because we have newer hardware = everything is easy to do but it's not like that.

Games running at 60fps will be bumped up another 60fps easy but it might cause a weird shield looking flare around the characters when they're in motion.
I've played UC2 on a 100Hz TV but I turned it off because it causes the weird fuzzy flare I was talking about but that's because the PS3 currently doesn't support 120fps.
Once this update comes out the hardware itself will be able to support more fps than my TV can even support which means UC2 with the 100Hz feature...
and look at how crap it looks.
If the PS3 exclusive game 'Agent' turns out to be mind blowing in terms of Graphics, A.I, Physics, Animations etc.. then we all know why GTA4 turned out to be a flop (360's limitations).
