Hit the nail on the head. hardcore gamers are people who play games. Doesn't matter the system. I've owned all big 3 every gen because they all have good offerings. (Except when I got dusted buying an Xbox1 for Master Chief Collection aka the most broken game ever that was pretty much pointless to have).
You have to throw in Playstation examples to not get so much hate from the Fanboys. Journey is a great example of a game with beautiful graphics. It definitely is not pushing any bars. But still amazing and beautiful.

They shouldn't be hindered by consoles period. They should just develop for PC.
To make money, because that's what companies do. If it isn't financially viable than they most likely won't do it.

Almost all Multiplats are downgraded on XB1 right? And if the games are released on ps4 Pro and Scorpio then PS4 and XB1 will be receiving downgraded versions also.
I loosely used the term downgraded. It could mean it just runs at 720p 60fps instead of 1080p 60fps. Companies release different versions of the games all the time.
I am just saying this is most likely a financial decision over a matter of power decision.
Switch isn't a gimmick. Technically none of them are gimmicks, they become gimmicks when they aren't utilized. Switch will be utilized for what it is marketed as.

I'm just saying both games are/were overpriced. Personally I am fine with it because many players will be experiencing MK8 for the first time and the same went for TLOU. Maybe they will do a rewards program for wii u owners. They did it for first time buyers when it flopped. I own all the dlc for MK8 and have played the crap out of it. Well if you watched the trailer of it being announced for the switch you can see that the person did use the video from the switch reveal conference. And that being said with what is shown, it definitely is the remastered version. But at a lower resolution obviously but still looks really good. Where is your proof that it isn't switch footage?

I know. Personally I think Japanese Developers might make a bit of a comeback given the appeal in Japan. PS4 basically sold the same as Wii U in Japan. So they may have more reason to develop on Switch. Hopefully.
