The only Zelda that I can think of that provided a Master Mode for free was NES Zelda 1. That is if you beat the game once and start again or type the name ZELDA for your character.
Zelda OOT Master Quest was a separate thing on Gamecube that you paid for.
WW didn't have one.
Twilight Princess didn't have one.

Blizzard/Activision are known for this crap. It makes it so you have to "Pay to Win". Or if you want to collect a bunch of stuff you have to pay for it. Destiny is infamous for ripping people off with the drop rate. It's just a way to rip people off and get free money.
Lol true. But At least we will have Nintendo games all in one place and some 3rd party games will probably do it. But western developers will probably not. They can't even make proper ports and expect people to buy it.

I'm going through Master Mode right now. I'm at like 48 shrines and am doing the Trial of the Sword. It starts off really hard but usually just avoid enemies until I got good weapons. I feel like bombs are stronger now too.
Anyways the difficulty gets real noticeable in Trials of the Sword. Stage 10 of the Trials 1 is absolutely cheap hard. Like almost impossible because of the setup. I actually beat it last night, barely. It's 2 silver lazafos...
PS+ rarely gets good games. It's overpriced. The service is always failing or having some type of problem. It was actually better on PS3. Now we pay $60/year just to even play a game like Destiny/D2.
Xbox is a crappy system this ben but XBlive is much better for what you pay. But still not worth it cuz XB1 doesn't have any games.
$700 for a TV just to play video games on isn't really "Cheap".

That's $1,100 for 4K gaming that truly isn't 4K. XB1X is at least $1,200. It just isn't worth it at all for most people.
Umm no they haven't been slowing it down. Developers just capitalized on Shovel Ware with the go Wii. Developers didn't put games on Wii U. How does it hold the industry back? Especially with the Switch, it is also a Portable. Good luck with having a portable being able to run 4K....
4K isn't there yet. In order to play 4K people have to buy a brand new TV, not cheap.
PC gaming isn't held back like Console gaming. 4K gaming is still getting it'...
I get you. But I personally want one because of the controllers. The NES Classic controller is the same exact thing as the OG NES. And the ROMS are way better than they are on Wii or Wii U. And the game list is stellar. Needs Chrono Trigger to be perfect.

Dude Pikmin 3 is so good. I hope it does get ported or a VC treatment. Because the battle mode and multiplayer is really fun. I never played the first two but me and my brother poured hours into multiplayer.
I really hope they fully flesh that out for online with Pikmin 4 because that could be a hit.

If Nintendo is smart they are propping themselves up for next gen. The next version of the Switch could release around PS5 and XB2? and be on the same graphic fidelity if they actually put some good hardware in a Dock. That would be the smart move. But Nintendo.....is always Nintendo.
Not a stretch. I use all three for extensive periods of time. The battery life is the main difference. The fact is none of the controllers are bad by any means imo. But I think if I were to pick one that is the best, the Switch Pro Controller, again my opinion.

When both XB1 and PS4 have multiples a smart consumer is going to see what exclusive titles each system has to make a better purchase. If one has barely any but all the 3rd party support and the other has the same support and pays 3rd parties for exclusives/exclusive content, then we know which one would be a better purchase.

I KNOW! So many Switch owners are DBZ fans and anime fans. And the pro controller for the switch is better than the PS4 and XB1 controllers.
Let's all just be honest with ourselves and call it how it was. E3 just wasn't that great. All three Console Manufacturers fell short of what gamers wanted.

It's just a shady practice and it does effect the experience of the game. And you won't necessarily get the stuff. Also there are RNG in items you purchase with real money, which is ridiculous. Why not allow the player to choose the actual items?
