It never shared anything similar to Bioshock -- ever. Other than perhaps tone.
Furi was soooooo good.
Yeah people love to make competition out of anything they can. It's a classic human thing to do.
Yeah Yakuza 5 is as close to a PS4 game as you can get on the PS3. As for Rebel Galaxy, it has all the right ingredients for a great game, but it just comes up a little short in each department. Still a very solid pick up for free though.
I agree
Yeah I'm hoping this is some VERY EARLY footage :D
*Need 4 Waluigi Amiibos.
KINDA!
SpongeBob will live and thrive for centuries -- through memes.
They are a bit of a rare commodity -- at least good ones.
Obsidian are just great in general.
That and an easy cash in on hype
It better be built on a new engine!
Yeah I would feel a tad cheated at 50, luckily I got it at 30, so I feel like I got my money's worth. But barley, to be honest.
Yeah I agree the emphasis on base building in the DLC was a huge misfire. I think Automatron was great for what it was, building robots was cool and the tight little story was pretty good. Far Harbour, on the other hand (was more expensive, so I would expect a lot more) was sadly unplayable for me, as in it ran absolutely horribly. I still powered through it -- but it made the expiernce that much worse.
I think they saw that after the intial first month of insane hype -- this game lost all steam and nobody was talking about it anymore. Minus the Automatron DLC, all post-launch content has been pretty disappointing, and I think it's clear they just want to move on to their next project. I still think their orginal intention was to bang out at 1 or 2 more DLC for this fall. Now, I just hope they realize whatever their next game is -- likely elder scrolls -- it needs to be built on a new ...
Yeah I mentioned Dark Souls 3 in my notable misses -- I enjoy the series, but not as much as everyone else. Of the games you mentioned I'm most excited for The Last Guardian, which probably has the best chance among these games to crack the top 10.
Over time I've grown a tad skeptical of early access games, however, Compulsion Games is a small team and I think they realized the potential hit they have on their hands with this game, Microsoft probably made that realization as well. Their last game Contrast was pretty poor, so going into early access will hopefully allow We Happy few to escape a similar fate by providing important feedback and more time.
Just curious, what genre did you think it was when you saw that initial trailer?
Rebel Galaxy is much better on PC than it is on console.
