The same people who bought the studio before it even shipped its first game and thought they had a smash hit on their hands. 200 million is also nothing compared to what games currently in development are spending. That is the funniest part about all of this. Concord's budget is going be a drop in the bucket very soon. In five years, game budgets tripled in cost. Spider-Man went from 90 million to make to 300 million to make in a handful of years. How much do you think Spider-Man 3 is goi...
lol we don't trust the games media when convenient and trust them when it is
Sons of the forest is awesome
As the author of this, I love all the games. Played them all multiple times, read all the books and comics, etc. I am excited for Veilguard. My most anticipated game of 2024. There are some elements I find concerning though, which I consequently decided to write about.
Of course, it is just an opinion. That goes without saying. But it is also the majority opinion. Besides, if they were aiming to be more true to the original, they would just recreate the original design, not go 30 percent the way there. If the intention was to go back to the original design fair enough, but the end product does not suggest that was the driving force behind the latest design.
“Look more like that”
So because it looks a LITTLE like the Origins design that justifies abandoning a superior design everyones loves?
I would play another Infamous in a heartbeat, just not if it gets in the way of a Ghost of Tsushima sequel (assuming GOT is half as good as it looks).
Someone hasn't giggled in awhile.
Surprised this type of rumor is allowed on here
It's better
Don't forget the new Blair Witch game coming in August!
The reality is scaling up to cover a whole vertical like that properly is very difficult and resource depleting. It's a big risk.
lmao thank man
Rage 2 is pretty lackluster though
Literally games six and seven. I wanted to throw in some smaller studios that people may not think of, so KP and FS were scarified for Frictional Games and Playdead :(
I'm not suggesting it will happen, just that Sony would be shrewd to gobble them up IF it can.
I didn't even think about Bluepoint, that's an interesting one. PlayStation could use an in-house remake studio!
im glad im not alone i really enjoyed its loading screen minigame too
