Uh what about the Xbox fans who were wishing it was $399 or $449? And the fact of the matter is basically everyone from "PS fans" to industry people including eurogamer primarily said it would be $499. So quit playing victim.
The thing is they obviously heard that people wanted to see games because they showed a lot but the sad part was that the best they could come up with was timed exclusives on indies that are already on PC. And on top of that they really didn't even do that good of a job of getting the third parties on stage.
They created the most expensive console on the market and failed to show why it was needed aside from 10 minutes of tech jargon at the start.

Hey they might not lower the price. But I am pretty sure given that almost all the parts are the exact same as the Slim that at $349 they will still be making a profit.
Personally I would lower the base price to $349 and offer a games bundle at $400. Something like Uncharted and Horizon and a Pro for $400 right around the time the X launches.
They can't really build up for next gen they just built a console that they are almost assuredly taking a loss on. They are going to be soaking up RD costs for the foreseeable future. As far as consoles go this is Microsoft's next gen. They went big and expensive which will prove to be a mistake.

Man this is Microsoft we're talking about they have been caught using PC's so many times you shouldn't even question the possibility. They have literally been caught telling people on E3 stages saying the games were being played on Xbox when they were in fact being played on PC.
On top of that 6tf is basically the minimum for 4k. 6tf is not going to do 4k ultra 60 fps on games like that mark my words.

First party exclusives they haven't been showing for years? Games take three years or more to make so what happens after these games are released? It's like they have no future game plan at all.
