Who the f*** is Delvin? lol
Fair enough mate, but this footage is barely news worthy though. I mean.. I'm pretty sure I can tell which pixel is Delsin if I squint hard enough, but it's just due to process of elimination seeing as there's only 5 of them :)
Sh*t man! Was this filmed on a nokia 3210 or something?? Terrible. The sound quality makes me nauseous also.
The title states, 100 reasons not to buy an xbox one AND ps4..
Great. I wasn't planning on buying an xbox one as well anyway :)
Yeah I'm going to have to agree with you there. I do hope this game is amazing, the premise and visuals already are, but I can't help but wonder whether it will let us down in the gameplay and innovation department. I seriously hope I'm wrong.
P.s. This article is terribly written..
To what exactly?
Yep @jeeves86. You no longer exist nor understand anything :)
Nice one. Ryse? Really.. My mobile phone runs games at a higher resolution. And with far less blur!
It's a lot easier for engines to run some pretty effects when it's running in potato res.
P.S. Almost all multi-plat publications have labelled Killzone:SF as the best looking next-gen console game thus far
Agree! +1
It's only won game of ALL TIME in many many hearts. Mine included. Those who haven't experienced it, or have but weren't instantly blown away by it must be: A. Not human. Or B. Doesn't understand art whatsoever..
I think you're missing the point @Dark11.. You're making the cinematic quality of a game sound like it's a patented idea or some shit. It's the natural evolution of gaming. If you can't see that, then piss off to the video arcade and go play some rigid ass timewasters that haven't pushed the medium forward whatsoever. Inproving cinematic quality in gaming means the animators/artists are actually making an effort to improve things in gaming..
So what exactly makes a next gen game to you @Dark11? Improving interactivity and immersion through cinematic quality sure does it for me. And oh wait... the fact that The Last of Us/Uncharted has had such universal critical acclaim for this exact reason means something. But hang on... you know better right?
Titanfall looks TERRIBLE for a next gen game. Wtf are you smoking?
Many things... and im sure Naughty Dog will show us soon enough:)
What can I say. I'm a Naughty Dog fanboy :) (with more than good reason)
@BBBirdistheWord
Stop talking. It's clear you have no understanding of graphics technology if you can't see the next gen rendering, physics, and environmental geometry present in knack. TLOU was a great technical achievement for CURRENT GEN (soon to be last gen), and artistic direction wise, it stomps knack to bits. But if we are purely talking about what's actually going on engine wise, knack is marginally superior. If you don't understand this, then you need an educa...
Not much of a fan of square enix/final fantasy franchise to be honest with you, but I can't help but feel that their struggle this gen was due to the fact that they decided to sell out and go multiplatform instead of stay loyal to the brand that boosted them to new heights to begin with (not mentioning names)
@iamnsuperman actually it was stated by the developer, and on the trailer if I'm not mistaken, that it was all in-engine. The later gameplay vids that were revealed have the exact same graphics anyway, the only difference being that the original "cg" trailer as you called it, had more cinematic animations and camera work
Yes The Order 1886 does in fact run at 1920x800, but that's because it is presented in cinema ratio, with black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Personally, I don't mind, I think it'll add more atmosphere, also it'll allow the dev to squeeze out extra effects and details etc.
I have to agree with plastic man. I love ALL David Cage's games so far, but the whole QTE thing is not moving the medium forward or revolutionising anything. It's moving backwards if anything. Dynamic realtime fluid gameplay is what next gen SHOULD be about. Gameplay sequences determined by prompted button presses with a pass or fail outcome are NOT realtime gameplay technically. Hopefully Mr. Cage understands this. If all else fails, Naughty Dog will show us the way..
@Alexious No that's Delsin.
