What does your specs have to do with what monitor you have? Plus a single 980 would struggle with ultra settings at 4k anyways
Plus I'm not saying 4k will instantly make any game look 1000x better, but what I am saying is naysayers are screaming "downgrades" when all they have to base it off is YouTube vids
Says the man who's never played a game in 4k..
It really doesn't. Yeah skyrim with mods may produce some pretty screens, but that's as far as it goes
I will not be making any judgement until I have this maxed out at 4k right in front of me
36 actually.
You clearly have never made the comparison for yourself of a YouTube vid of a pc game running at ultra, and actually playing that game at ultra. The difference is night and day, even more so if you are playing at 4k. Go back to your console articles where you belong.
Damn! Not sure whether it's because I'm viewing these screens on my phone or not, but they look without a doubt absolutely phenomenal!! For once I can say this DSOG have actually downplayed screenshots for once!
I'm pretty tired of hearing this Bloodborne combat comparison. Leave weightless, arcady combat out of the Witcher series please.
It's not a beat em up so no
Since when? Since I was entitled to my own opinion, that's when. Note how I said "looks so arcadey to me"? If you don't see what I see that's fine. But I'm not gonna jump on the almighty Bloodborne/Demon Souls bandwagon just because I'm afraid of conflict of opinion. Jap style action RPG's don't do it for me. They look floaty/arcadey to me and I struggle to be immersed because of this
I agree with you except Bloodborne's combat still looks so arcadey to me. The Witcher 3's combat on the other hand, looks a lot more fluid and realistic
Currently playing at 4k 60Hz with (almost) every setting maxed and let me just say, it's pretty damn impressive. Well for a massive open world game at least
Sounds fair mate! 😀
I hope (fingers crossed) my rig can max this baby out at 4k 60fps!
Or even better, with PC you can have it all!
Hmmm.. Well @starchild.. if you call dual r9 295x2's in quadfire a turd than I'm not quite sure what that makes your system..
Side note: I have Ryse and TEW both running maxed at 4k at a pretty consistant 60fps (with occasional dips) and no AC:U does not perform even close to how they do.
Edit: could potentially be a 4k related issue perhaps
Yeah still generally runs like a turd.
I'm on pc btw too.
Overreacting?.. Ha! I think not!
Not trying to boast (well kinda) but these are my specs:
i7 3930k
quadfire r9 295x2
32 gb ram
And let me say, it is running like POOP at 4k, in fact even if I bump the settings AND res down to 1080 it still stutters like crazy. And this is a machine that runs everything I've thrown at it, at maxed settings in most cases, at 4k, and at an average of 60fps so don't tell me it's not a broken mess, becau...
Thank f*** I just bought 2x Titan X's!
4k + uber settings + gameworks
