I never buy new games digitaly because I dont believe that just a license to use a game that you have to download digitaly over internet is worth a 50-70€
Getting games that Im curious about from (Steam) sales or old games that I cant find a copy of digitaly from Steam/PSN is okay to me.
But I always default to the physical copy, physical is cheaper for console games anyways... not gonna buy digital games at release as long as they are more expensive than phy...
Mmm, baity.
I would have liked them to do this type of study for all the fanboys.
After being on N4G for a little over year, I can agree with the "study" but as for the (bad) PS Fanboys, they seem to be very insecure even though the PS4 already's holding a suprerior position with suprerior hardware.
It should also probably be mentioned that I feel both camps have equal amounts of delusions about the console power, most over esti...

EDIT: kinda but not really double posted....
Far Cry Classic is 5$ when observed through the link in the article.
I checked the Finnish playstation store and its 9.95€ so I asume this is just a US deal.
Interested.
Checked the cover art and Im pretty sure I have never even seen it randomly on used games' store shelves.
God Hand. The game's insane.
Heard about it for the first time from Totalbiscuit about 6 months ago but I just happened to stumble across a copy about a week ago.
Clocked like 22 hours in 5 days I have played it, soon Im going to take on the final boss already and Im probably going to start it again on normal difficulty.
I don't meant that every game has to be as absurd/crazy/amazing as GH but like many older games, its fun. Newer gam...
Im glad that this is actually a good DBZ game.
I was a huge fan of BT series but didn't really like the raging blast series so for me there hasn't been a good DBZ game in a while.
I was sort of afraid that the next DBZ game would not get made after the POS BOZ was but Im glad they greatly improved on it.
Getting my game in a few days.
PS1 emulation pls.
Also uncompressed screenshot capture option.
And my feels are completely opposite.
These new franchises and games on PS3/4 have so far been so meh (with very few exceptions), sure I get few of them might have great stories but Im not overly interested about them otherwise (prefer these older games/franchises over them). Infamous was like, one of the better ones.
Objectively, you could also argue that something like Uncharted was a step down from Jak and Daxter series. Sure it might be more cinematic but...
Was there ever a good Digimon game in EU/US ? ;_;
I always remember looking at some games when I was a kid but they never seemed quite as awesome as they should have been... (years later I saw some gameplay of japanese exclusive games which looked great. Followed the same story and worked in turn based fashion).
Yeah, that 75$ sounds about the same I pay/used to pay my games with €.
Though Im happy that here where I live, game prices have dropped from last gen (varying between 69€ to insane 75€ some games were) by 5-10€.
So now I have paid around 60-64 € for Alien Isolation, FC4 and such (these games are also further 5 to 10 € cheaper on last gen machines).
I was super happy when I found DB Xenoverse for 53€ (PS4)...
But man, 80€ ? T...
I agree, but not because I think the games suck. Im sure there are plenty of people enjoy The Order despite having very little replay value and being slightly flawed.
Its just that... I cant remember playing any truely enjoyable (like, constant enjoyment, laughing and smiling) game since PS2. Some may think its nostalgia but really... I just picked a really good PS2 game a week ago and its mad fun. Never had a dull moment or felt like I wanted to put down the controller. Im s...
^ and friday to the EU I believe.
@RosweeSon
For older nintendo consoles extracting your own ROMs can be a bit kinky, sure, but you need to invest into a tool that allows you to create your own back up copies. A quick google shows that they cost quite a lot (around 2x of a good and semi valuable NES/SNES game) but after that it should all be easy peasy.
For newer consoles like PS1 & 2 ripping your own games is mad simple and takes only a PC and 2 minutes of your time but in the case of PS...
Technically you still need to dump your own ROM's (or BIOS) but thats about it.
Emulators aren't illegal. Sony uses emulators on PS3 to run their classics.
Yeah I know its coming and am probably picking it up on day 1 but its not a new game. Even though its a remake/reboot, its still a R&C game (which are fun, nothing wrong there).
Speaking of IG classics and remakes, why the hell has nobody done something similar with Spyro/Crash ? remake the originals with new engines and assets and cash on the nostalgia. Even if Activision doesn't want to utilize the IPs those remakes could be amazing and outsourced/borrowed to other ...
Oh I just hope its something good, no matter what genre.
Would have liked to play Sunset Overdrive so badly but I dont have a XB1 so too bad for me.
Really waiting a new game/IP from IG (that I can play)
Yes, I agree.
Some SS from other games look horribly blurry while others look pretty okay. I would still prefer uncompressed any day.
For example, FC4 shots look very blurry but KZSF ones look pretty good.
Mmm, I want this for PS4 too ;_;
Took some FC4 SS but when I trasfered them to my PC they looked very blurry (more so than other games SS), then I realized they were compressed.
GJ MS.
The process looks somewhat similar to how I set up the PS originals on my phone (SE Xperia Play) using the built in emulator.
I wonder if its the same guy that created the PSXperia tool that created this PSP minis converter ?
Now, if only somebody could come up with a method similar to this so I could play my PS2 games on my PS3 with its built in emulator...
(which is being used for the PS2 classics)
