To this day Im pissed that I let the first Tombi to slip by so easily. It was like in 2005 or so when they weren't yet expensive cult classics, I saw the game for 50€ in my local used games store.
I recognized the game (because I had the second game) but decided to pass on it because the case and manual looked somewhat damaged, the disc was in kinda bad shape and I didnt find the backside that interesting (+ it was too pricey).
Later I heard that the same...
Well, I hope they do tell us if they happen to get stuck again.
But I dont really see any indication of them getting in another development hell. Of course there may be instances where they have to overcome a technical difficulty and it may delay their release but wasnt that the reason they broadly only stated 2016 as the release window? They are now sure they can finish it for 2016.
I can understand why they have been so quiet recently but I dont mind. The a...
That wasnt even so bad. He has been shtting on games way harder in the past. I found the mothers reaction to be worse TBH.
Yeah, its been available for a couple of years already and in english.
Yeah and Im still waiting if they are going to release it to retail. One online store I frequent has a few games listed for retail release that dont even have a proper release date let alone announcement of digital only/retail release.
Unravel is listed and it costs 60€ according to the store (but not released yet)
Just checked. They have boxed copies up for preorder for XBO and PS4 and it seems they settled on a price too. Though release day according to th...
Dat PS1 logo and startup.
It was probably some sort of a mind control thing. Now we can never forget it.
Sad how each PS console just had more and more meh startup than the previous.
My favourite game of all time.
I wonder if they got the music playback working properly in the english version? I think that was the reason why they originaly went with the japanese version.
For those that dont know, the music usually plays like normal but when it ends and is supposed to loop, it skips to another worlds track and is stuttering like crazy (but the gameplay works like normal). *this is if you use the disc with PS3. I think other emulators also ...
My guess:
1) Trolls or such
2) Some people think that you caring much more about a famous person and his/her death than tons of people who die in third world countries is bad.
Which I disagree. Even if you learn to know the person as a fan you still know and care about that person even though it will never be completely mutual on a personal level.
Some people just are dcks.
Maybe, but it doesn't have to be.
It was a good read even though I didnt quite agree with some of the small stuff. Still a good oppinion piece.
Oh fk yeah!
If Ascend is still alive might as well jump back to that.
I find it hard to believe that people born around 89-95 for example would be comfortable with DLC milking because they would still be very used to whole games, physical media and such.
95-01 for sure would be easier because most of their gaming careers have been with PS3/XB360 where DLC got big fast.
Seen this game in so many article during the past week. Actually got around playing it a hour or two and it seems good.
At times gave me similar vibes as the AVP2 game (marines campaign) on PC.
CTR is pretty tight. The only thing I would like to nitpick about is that the maps are not all amazing. None is bad though as far as I remember.
I just think the track they used in the CTR demo (on Spyro 2 disc) is the best one. Extra tight which makes slide/boosting around corners extra satisfying and it loops beautifully around itself. Less straights and more twisted corners and turns so you can use all the slide and jump tricks they give to you.
@BadBoyC ...
Same. I usually limit my game purchases to one per month or two in few cases + a few used ones if I happen to come across some older games in very good price point.
My PS3/4 backlog isnt all that bad (like, 3 games) but my PS2 and Steam backlogs have increased by alot by some games I bought but never expected playing them through (or at least in recent times. Some are games I remember playing at friends when I was a kid, some are driving games that I just pop in for some quic...
I picked The Thing for the PS2 yesterday (happened to come across one) because I remembered reading an article through this site saying its a good game. I guess thats where I'll be spending my halloween.
Either that or I pop in Alien Isolation.
For me the next best thing is Shovel Knight but considering it didnt release this year (other than in retail which is why I have only now played it) it would be cheating to say its a GOTY contender.
So Bloodborne, no doubt, is my GOTY.
See, that depends so much on where you live.
Very few times have I ever seen any old games at fleamarkets or any other type of shops. There is a dedicated shop for games that sells retro stuff but of course they cost a pretty penny around where I live.
The only time I see some good and cheap games its when there is a bunch of PS2 games stacked on top of each other some in questionable condition.
Only a few times I have seen a couple of PS1/N6...
Though alot of these retro consoles use emulators to run the games.
Welp, I guess that throws the whole "Ludwigs Holyblade + Phantasm Shell = Moonlight Greatsword" theory. It even sounded pretty convincing...
I wonder how that new cane is going to fit into the arsenal. Spear/Longsword transformation? A subtle gentleman weapon?
Or if the covenant is coop/online based, can you still get the cane and rewards without going online?
