I do agree but in hindsight, based on some things and little dialog it does seem that they were preparing releasing some extra content later :)
Still though, its an excellent DLC and easily worth the price. They even said somewhere that they managed to include a couple of weapons that were never finished or balanced for the main game.

So, a linear and short singleplayer campaign or a proper single play mode like in the previous Battlefronts with an added campaign mode?
I see that rather declining because of the required PS+ and XBL subscriptions for online play.
That might be the reason why games like Evolve, RS Siege and Battlefront have some offline playability but they are just really poor at that. Otherwise those games would have been probably online multiplayer only.

Emulators are already state of the art software and probably way too much for most of us and our understanding, so why do mere visual enhancements and trophy support push it over the line?

Except these are not ports. If I were to rip the game files out of the emulators, they would be 1:1 identical to my copies of the games on discs. Port implies that the game code has been rewriten so it can run in a new environment natively, think of something very similar to a remastered game (remastering warranting some enhancements or visual tweaks to the port excluding higher resolution)

Late level Chalice Dungeons are tough sht. I saw some people estimating in reddit that the amount of HP and damage the enemies have in Depth 5 dungeons is comparable to NG+6 enemies.
The recommended levels in the dungeons according to the guide are like 110+ and a +8 weapon or up for the depth 4, 150/160+ and +10 weapon in the depth 5.

Well, I think I could manage a little better if my weapons were higher than +4 or whatever they were at the time. I have been doing bl4 playthrough and Im in the Nightmare of Mensis (killed all optional bosses too). I bet I could progress a little bit into the DLC area but that wouldnt be fun.
Now with this new character Im also leveling pretty flat between strenght, skill and arcane for the weapons so Im not sure if even bl60 would be enough.

Are you seriously saying PS4 cant read DVDs? Seeing how 97% of PS2 games are on DVDs, 2% on CDs and like 1% or less on dual layer DVDs.

Well, actually thats the whole point of emulation, to run the original code without tweaking it at all.
The only thing that differs here is the way they execute the code through emulation software so that PS4 SW and HW and understand whats going on.
The way they can achieve better framerates is overclocking the virtual PS2 machine so it can run the original code faster, but this only works if the games dont have any limiters/already run under their target spe...
Agreed, I just started the game again/DLC and got to the right point in a couple of hours. I only checked the requirements for the DLC and even got into the area myself.
Realized that blv25 is a bit too low for the area for me to be effective and just snatched the Beast Cutter, then returned back to main game.
Seriously, did I miss something or has there been new rumors/official announcement saying we are only going to get emulation of classics?
Great majority of PS2 games are on DVDs and PS4 should be able to read DVD discs, right?
PSX is only some tens of hours away, We will probably get a confirmation there. Though I also fear that we are only getting classics.

Meh, I thought BF4s maps were a little better. Then again, I mostly played Obliteration (which was awesome) and most of the stock maps felt like they were made for Obliteration.
Rush was better in BF3 maps, conquest maps... havent been all that great all around in the recent BF titles. There were a couple good ones in BF4 though.

As far as I know, its not all too uncommon in business world to restrict the individuals work after he/she leaves the company. He may have been restricted to take a part in any new game studios and projects for a year and that would include any game (Konamis or other games) he would have possibly been endorsing in the GA.

I cant connect directly to PS4 via WIFI, I cant use my internet connections (4G being faster than my wired) to connect and neither do the two find each other if my PS4 is connected to the router via ethernet while my phone is using WIFI (on the same router!)
Looks to me like they were trying to adjust the skin tones to fit better the real people (that I presume are saudi in those images) but they overdid it and didnt account any other factors that may affect the skin tone.
For example, the lady in the first picture is also more white than previously. I guess it might be lighting/graphics related and what they tweaked in the remaster.
