The older tomb Raider games had a lot of magical elements to them and something like this wouldn't be too far off. I haven't play the new Tomb Raider yet, but I do hope they have some mystical elements to it (or will be added in future installments). Does she even have dual pistols in the new game?
I don't really know what to say about this particular article. Microsoft authorizing mentions of their console? A secret plan to get more mentions of their nextbox? I don't think Microsoft is that smart or deviant to do all this. We all know there's a new xbox coming, so it's hardly a secret to that extent.
The word "Kinect" just killed it for me. The rare we all knew and grew up with is long gone. They're simply a shell of their former self. At this point, the Kinect is only good for dancing games. How? I don't know. It can pick up dance moves but now slow motions in a lot of other kinect games. not looking forward to kinect 2.
You guys remember Turok on the N64? Those games were pretty cool. That's a nice little easter egg, but the real dinosaur mode would've been tons better.
I'd want him to stay in the main games at the very least. If he's tired of doing snake, then I guess it's alright. IT will be hard to let go, but we'll all get over it.
Just give us FF13vs or KH3. I'm sure their hardcore game they will give us is just the FFX HD version though...That's probably it. I'll be surprised if it's any of the above mentioned games. I do expect them to talk a lot about 13-3 though...ugh.
Why don't I believe what this EA guy is saying? I'm sure there will be a small few games that escape micro transactions...maybe? I can't name a game they own they won't have micro transactions. Madden could have you pay for updates and special costumes...
Yeah I agree. The game was funny and good till the tower defense thing screwed it up. Not a bad game, it should've stayed to what it was doing before that point.
The demo data transfer over to the full game. That's good to hear. The smart glass thing is a throw away feature, but whatever.
Piracy will always be an issue, imo. No matter the generation, people will find ways to hack their consoles/games and copy games. This will probably only be another challenge for those pirates that have fun cracking consoles.
Most of these games, I wouldn't consider reboots. A reboot would be something like DMC:dmc and Tomb Raider. Most of these games are just games with something new in them or just a new part of the series...not an overhaul/reboot. Luigi's Mansion is a spinoff...not a reboot.
I liked Metroid: Other M. Gameplay wise it was pretty cool and it still felt like Metroid. Samus moving like Ryu Hayabusa was pretty cool too. She wasn't slow a clunky, but very agile.

Will this lead to a Halo movie? Maybe? MS's plans to rule your living room with the nextbox media hub seems to be working. This is very interesting.
The game looks really interesting and it is something I'd want to get for the Wii-u. But to say it will sell systems? This is lego...this isn't Mario Kart or Zelda. Those games are system sellers. I just don't think this game has the potential to move sales for the wii-u at all. Still looks good, but not good enough
It's crap like this that makes me hate this generation and going forward into the next. How many things will be shaved off a game and sold later? How much will I have to PAY to be good at the game or to get the full game? This is ridiculous.
I guess getting good at the game and trying to earn cool things (like costumes) is just retro stuff now. It's all about using real world monies! Pay to win is EA's future plans?
If the ps4 is so almighty and powerful, then why can't it play my ps3 games? I'm pretty sure there are ways around the "cell-tech" ps3 thing. I guess they took it out to force people to buy it off of their psn services. Also is the ps4 region locked?
Nintendo's first party stuff can keep the Wii-u afloat for a while, but you do need 3rd party stuff to keep the boat floating. Also many 3rd party games for the wii were bad ports. The few exclusives like No more Heroes and Tatsunoku vs Capcom were amazing games. If a 3rd party focuses on making a wii-u game, then they'll most likely make a great game that will sell well.
The day he stops being snake is the day the MGS games stop being good? Sometimes we just have to let go. Let's hope any new Snake voice actors can do as good as a job as he did.
Looks like the story took a lot of cues from Avatar. Seeing that Capcom logo makes me worry a little bit these days. How much of the story will be DLC? What's going to be missing?
