It isn't that they are hardcore "fanboys" as you say it, it is the fact that you present yourself in a very childish and unprofessional manner that leads everyone to believe that you are biased towards the XBox360.
Learn to speak intelligently and in an unbiased manner and they won't think that. Until then it doesn't matter what consoles you own or what preorders you have, you still come off as arrogant and biased.

I have been playing console and PC for years and when I play my PC games I don't notice the rumble being gone. Besides, the rumble from my bass should be plenty, it shakes my whole house.

I am not attacking you or anything... but I will be enjoying the HDMI on my 42" plasma TV that I recently purchased. It does matter to some of us and we do want it, but you are correct that the majority of people won't know what the advantages are or even if they need it. One other major thing to note is that at the end after the doll is possessed by the PS3 it says, "Mama," which makes me believe that they are portraying the PS3's domination of the consoles (or people if that is what the doll represents) and makes it the overall nurturer, implying that the PS3 will be the provider [of life and comfort] for gamers.

Awesome. I played the original Tony Hawk when I used to skateboard and I loved it. It became repetitive for me though.
I will give it a shot for sure. That "Nail the Trick" thing seems interesting enough, plus the crash animations are comical though that cartwheel thing is disturbing. Plus, I love being a badass at games like that and whipping out insane tricks while my friends watch in awe.

Or... they are taking the more accurate approach and just getting the word out there that the Playstation 3 is coming so people at least get somewhat curious about it. Then... when they are in a store that has them and they see it they will be like, "Oh! I saw this on TV, I wonder what it is!" They will then proceed to analyze it and decide if they want to buy it or not.

Yes, I love this commercial. It is very different from the boring stuff everyone else throws around and that appeals to me. The sound effects in the commercial were amazing as well as the graphics. Plus, I like the "white-room" theme they have kept throughout their advertisements.

I think he is more warning you that if you hype something up to a great extent then there is a much higher possibility of it being a HUGE disappointment. I have no doubt that GoW will be a good (possibly great) game but I personally think everyone is making it something that it isn't. That won't prevent me from playing it but I am not going to set my expectations too high so when I do actually get to play it I won't be like, "wtf... this is nothing like I imagined!"

I love the commercial personally. I loved it before I read any of these comments. To say that a commercial makes people look "immature and stupid" is very irresponsible in its own right. The detail on the board was great as well as his clothes. Other than that I didn't really see anything impressive but then again I am not a fan of that series.
One thing that stuck out was the crash animations. Other than the huge cartwheel thing he did that was incredibly fake and unrealistic it didn't look much different, just flashier.
