I think many of those questions are asked daily and the only answer that I can come up with that could be even remotely close contains a lot of factors.
The biggest two are anonymity and insecurity. The internet truly is a wonderful thing! =)
You mean I can't cook my eggs on it? =(
The biggest thing you are forgetting is that you are one person... and cannot speak for the other 200 million gamers. In the big picture of things you are practically nothing.
Just a little perspective for you. =)
I know =/
I hate text for that very reason. It is insanely difficult to perceive meaning when there is no tone or hint of context =(
No, I didn't Shy. The first sentence of my comment was entirely sarcastic and the second was just poking fun.
I wouldn't take it personally =)
I am suprised no one has made a comparison between the higher priced PS3 content and the cost of XBox Live yet.
I am sure I am instigating it but I would like a good belly laugh today.
Har har har!
TheMART you are right about the quality of the content and not quantity, but quantity does come into play if quality is equal or near equal to similar products. It will actually usually be the deciding factor. BUT, quality is all perception and personal ...
And that proves the citizens of Japan are not as needy/idiotic as the citizens of America!
Or it's going to tank (highly doubtful).
Awesome! =)
It could have used more substance and a little more BANG! but overall a good teaser. The scenery at the beginning looked like it was filmed live although it chopped a few times (hardly noticeable). The narration was a little cheesy, too, but who cares? People don't buy those kind of games for storyline.
A+
Well, they're not cooking those rotten eggs on their machine though, right? Just thawing bagels, maybe even moldy ones! =)
Hahaha I made a funny!
What is Europe?
I would be more precise with your words. To a lot of people (enemies, right?), Microsoft's Xbox 360 can fit under at least three of those categories easily as well as lengthening the list to include a few of their own downfalls. So technically you are contradicting your own judgements and opinions.
Good job! Accepting the fact that everything has a good and bad side would be much easier and not make you look as bad, but that's not my choice. =)
Candy... he didn't say they shouldn't be taken seriously at all. He said the people judging them all use different methods (their own preference) and focus on the things they notice.
Every reviewer does this, why shouldn't it be the same for all games?
Paul,
I called you a tool because you say you are against and above petty "fanboy-ism" yet your primary goal in most everything you say is to piss off the PS3 cheerleaders (which can be entertaining on both sides). If you want to do that then by all means, get all the kiddies (reference to maturity) riled up and have a fun flame war like every "news" post on this site. But then once that happens you say you are tired of the crap and no one can be safe from &quo...
You're a tool, Paul.
Personally... I see a big difference in the quality of the screens on 360 and PS3 in that last link. The 360 version looks slightly better than something on the PS2. Granted, the PS3 version doesn't look much better (it's no Resistance or GoW quality), but to me it looks crisper and a good noticeable leap better than the XBox 360 version. But that is me and my gaming style. As for the fps performance I will wait until I am playing it to decide that for myself.
I seriously...
I wouldn't single out JUST the PS3 fanboys.
TheMART was on time to represent the XBox 360 fanboy side. =)
Most people never really cared about the power or who's was better, but rather the quality of the games that were coming out on the machine.
Besides, we should all be happy that we are all a part of this gigantic leap in gaming technology. It f'ing rocks!
The Warhammer trailer got me more interested than the Jericho trailer.
I like bunnies.
death monk I wasn't specifically referring to you, but there are many people that do post garbage on the "other" side of the news realm. On all sides, too, so don't think I am singling anyone out.
Those people give gamers a bad name and bring the worst out in people, especially themselves.
"MY opinions and Top Gamers are based on what others that seen these games in action we also have eyes. PLease!" - power of green II
That is your biggest flaw right there. You believe what other people say and follow them without making your own judgements from personal experience. You are what we call a sheep..... baaaaaaaaaa.
Who is your Shepherd?
I would have to disagree with the latter part of your statement regarding the purchase rate of the XBox 360. Come to any store in my area (Central Oregon) that sells the 360 and you will find their shelves completely stocked with 360's that have barely been touched in quite some time. They may be selling well enough to keep it above water, but they are hardly a huge seller.
If anything, I think the Wii will bring in more business purely because of price and convenience. But tha...
