You know The Witcher 3 was developed on Dx11 right? Its been said quite a lot already that games need to be developed with DX12 in mind to have any kind of benefit from the new API.

Once the "resolution gate ends" which is nothing more than fanboy ammunition, they will find another thing to talk about. If you enjoy gaming on XBO just enjoy it and forget about what's been said on the internet.
Resolution wont make your games look more impressive just a bit more sharper. Pac Man at 4k resolution will still look like Pac Man. Resolution is just a small part of the equation.

Why is it disappointing? 900p/60FPS would be great for a game with the scale of Halo.
well pac man at 1080p will still look like pacman. resolution just make games look sharper. A 1080p bad looking game still a bad looking game.
I think the graphics were great, but the AA could have use some work.

I don't think people are acting like that, more like people acting defensive every time we hear news about dx12.
I think we'll see DX12 advantages more on PC and XBO exclusives than in multiplat games.
