Great find
This is good news. Hopefully that can make the frame rate a bit more stable. Better AA would be also welcome.
Most likely on exclusives games and the the boost wont be massive, but there will be some kind of boost.
PC will always look better no doubt about that, its always been like that.

All this companies do the same. They are all to blame.
This is a fact and yet you still get disagrees.
Except that it wasn't MS showing the game, but CD Project.
Why are people blaming MS for this? MS didn't go to Conan it was CD Project. Are people really that desperate to bash MS? its getting really sad.
Its obvious the XBO version will be the weakest in terms of visuals, but the game will be the same on all platforms.
Dat Youtube compression :/
I agree, im not to much into the whole VR thing. I don't really see me playing it in my house with my wife and kids around.
Clear win for PS4
I concur.
Just another gimmick IMO, just like Kinect, 3d TVs, Move etc...
@rainslacker
"And this is where the confusion comes in. People are using this new API as X1 suddenly getting a bump in the natural evolution of a console's life cycle without really knowing what it will do in the first place. "
You know this could be applied both ways, right?
You said at the end of that paragraph "...without really knowing what it will do in the first place." So, you "without knowing what will do...
Its PC probably on running on settings equivalent to the XBO, although is playing at 60 FPS, Consoles will play at 30. They haven't shown any footage on high or ultra settings I think.
It can improve a lot. Just look how first generation games compared to late generation games on X360 and PS3 the differences were quite obvious. Now add a whole new API to the equation.
Games will look better as this consoles mature and DX12 will be part of that process, at least on Xbox.
My guess 900p PS4 and 720p on XBO.
Nice! Will try it.
If the PS4 is struggling to maintain a steady FPS, XBO will have the same problem maybe worse.
