2010 is going to be a great year for gaming, I think if I am honest it will take me into the next generation after this to experience all that this gen has to offer, I am in no rush for the next consoles when games look this good right now.
nuff said.
"I know.
I agree, this title should be PC only"
I see what you did there, good call.
this situation has been one big joke from start to finish, the biggest problem I see is that 360 owners will be really put off by this, I for one have totally lost interest, we have all seen the GOW3 videos and I think we can all agree that it rocks, I looks forward to seeing Halo Reach and Alan Wake which shows what the 360 is capable of, but when I think of graphics comparisons GOW3 just upped the standard but clearly Reach and Wake put Final Fantasy XIII to shame, well on the 360 at least,...
1st ten mins, there does seem to be a lot of button bashing but it's a small gripe, looks incredible.
this really does look fantastic, I will be very surprised if this does not win the best graphics award so far, really really impressed by what I see.
I don't even think I would get it if I had the PS3 version.
you are beating a dead horse but that doesn't matter anyway because as a 360 owner I can see the PS3 version should have got a higher score, so if I can see it then so can others, but really geting upset over the score of a game is one thing but to actually let it bother you to the extent some of you are doing is a bit ridiculous, please don't let this turn into the N4G-online-asylum.
Warhawk has me intrigued, I have never heard a bad thing said about it, I will have to give it a try somtime.
"well i own a ps3 and this is the first game i have seen on the 360 that actually is worth buying a 360 for"
There are more reasons than that, trust me, even games like Call of Duty 2 still have plenty of people playing online, if you got a 360 for the 1st time you would be happy just with the bargain basement, say all you want about peer to peer but there are always plenty of games and plenty of people playing, I don't even like racing games but I bet you if I went bac...
totally agree with you there mate, give me an open world Zelda with worse graphics than this any day.
if multiplats always both looked like crap then I would agree with you, but clearly the devs have had to get to grips with the complex setup of the PS3, 360 multiplats generally looked better so I doubt this was ever anything other than the devs figuring out the PS3, Alan Wake will probably look much better than Final Fantasy XIII because the devs have spent time with the 360, Final Fantasy XIII was built for PS3, the fact that we 360 owners have a version is just a bonus, but if it looks bet...
accepted that it would not be supported by the studios, obviously make it so it plays DVD's and maybe the odd HDDVD, but allow the devs the option to use it if they wish, silly talk really because it is not going to happen.
the charactor looks better on the 360 and some of the backgrounds look better on the PS3, but nothing major as you suggest.
but some have better stuff going on on the 360 and others on the PS3, I would say they are about equal, no major differences.
I know I know people probably think iv'e switched sides, truth is I never had a side, when the PS3 came out much like the PS2 it was overpriced and hyped out of all proportion, I did not like the £800 bundles, it just felt wrong to pay such a price for a console, but it's well priced now, the online service is much improved and IMO just lately Sony are not putting much of a foot wrong, what this really boils down to is a 24hr outage, nothing more nothing less, I don't like the RROD being...
I don't suppose you know that america is responsible for a third of all the worlds debt, your an idiot, I have no time for people like you.
about a bit of downtime, everyone knows I like my Xbox-360 but imo Sony handled this situation really well.
if it is anything like the PGR series it will be much more fun than any Forza or GT.
is that why you only make love in the dark ;)
