If i were a Sony fan I would be sick of seeing screenshots, I got 4 disagrees for making the comment that IMO Ghost Recon advanced warfighter has better graphics than MGS4, and I am sorry to say that the longer they take to release there games the more old hat the screenshots become, sorry if I sound like a fanboy but I am being honest, Gears of War 2 is already well on the way and people are still buying the 1st. It is clear to me that Sony needs to speed things up, MS have been quiet lately...
Deus Ex 2 was amazing on the Xbox, anyone who says otherwise is full of BS, this just topped my most wanted list, the gameplay the graphics will be spot on.
Not enough space on the disk yet it looks no better than Ghost Recon advanced Warfighter 2. Yeh and why is it so green?
I played MGS on the original Xbox, I liked it a lot but there are others I prefer.
I still say the Zelda series owns all, I just wish they would allow others consoles to at least have remakes.
There are so many sicko's in the world, I cannot understand anyone who would hurt a child like that, kids need our protection. More should be done to prevent this, the mother already has abuse claims against her, why was nobody checking up on the poor girl.
Poeple are still buying the Xbox-360, get over it.
DVD's are still good enough, I bought my Xbox-360 for games which it does very well, the HD-DVD was a there if I wanted it, Bluray will likely soon be there if I want it, either has a add-on (probably) or in a new elite model or both, I can't believe some of the Xbox-360 owners who are moaning about this, you bought your console for games and it plays games (well), bluray or no bluray it will still play games
How about they buy a HDD?
and buy a PS3 in case it gets a decent online service.
This games looks sweet. Why is Shigeru Miyamoto in the pics, wasn't that pic from a GDC tec demo?
This game is guaranteed to be great!
The characters have a lot of detail.
Some kind of RROD party? or a bunch of Sony fanboys? count me out of this RROD trend, every time it is mentioned we have a new thread with all the same BS, all the friends who I know to have Xbox-360's some of which have had to have replacements have no problems now, the only time I hear about this now is on the internet.
seems good if it works, it is like the sims but with Home it is more personal, If I have enough money I may get a PS3 but I will still wait until the games improve, or Home may persuade me. My Xbox-360 is safe for now, if the new models in the future are quieter and more reliable I would possibly upgrade to the newer model of the Xbox-360, but I would be lying if I said the HD war has not influenced me, I said I would not buy a Blur-ray or a HD-DVD until this war was over, now it is I may get...
but this is the humour of a virgin, anyone who thinks this is humour needs to get a life. I can vision a load of nerds sat around a bar pissing themselves at this whilst a group of hot ladies throw peanuts at them. Sad!
"Michael Ephraim the Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment said: "We would welcome Microsoft to the Blu-ray stable. In fact it is quite logical for them as the PS3 has been very succesful in driving consumers to Blu-ray. In fact we believe that it has done more to win the format war than traditional Blu-ray player".
When asked whether Sony would grant Microsoft a Blu-ray licence he said: "That is up to Sony Corporate but I see no reason why they w...
I did not buy my console for movies I bought it for games, HD movies are just a bonus, and until the dust settles same has before I will not purchase any kind of HD hardware/HD movie player until this mess is sorted out. The consumer has suffered already, if you want my opinion anyone who purcased a HD-DVD player or ADD-ON should get a full refund. But like I said I bought my console for games, the HD movie format does not bother me right now.
so forgive me if this has been said already, it sounds to me like the harddrive is being used like virtual memory on a PC which mimicks RAM, the 256mb of RAM and the GPU are the consoles weakness, the Cell and the Bluray and HDD are it's strengths, I don't have a PS3 but it is looking brighter and I am now at a stage when I would have one, the installs would not put me off but the game would need to be good
P4KY you said "6 - I've just had my fourth repaired. Or so MS say.
I'm still having the same disc read error that it had before they claimed to have fixed it.
I'm getting very close to buying a PS3."
You had the same problem 4 times? Sorry mate but I don't believe you.
Lets's get this out of the way, 1st I like how the idiots have been seperated from the ones who want a grown up debate.
My opinion of this is simple, there is nothing negative about using the HDD for installs, the Blu-ray drive is not known to be fast, so to have the install option is a plus.
I prefer my Xbox-360 to the PS3 for a number of reasons but has a true gamer I welcome anything that improves the gaming, when I hear Burnout requires the HDD, to those who ...
Time to change the name mate.
