Sad that in the real world, the easiest way to go DRM free is not to be a goody too shoes consumer even if that's the root cause of all these DRM.

It's probably cheaper than Sony making another KZM title. It probably had little to no return on investment.

Doesn't have KH and FF:CC unless you're always up to date with exploits and don't want PSN access.
PSP has access to lots of emulators and almost every PS1 game not limited to what's available on PSN thanks to custom firmware.
Memory cards are very cheap and high capacity because of mSD converters.
Easy to swap battery.
I'm keeping my PSP as long as I can together with my VITA.

It'll probably release in the West but it won't do much better facing $ 99 Xbox, $ 199 PS3, set top boxes and other electronic devices close to its price range.
Well that's 544p upscaled and it won't generally look better on a 720p/1080p screen unless you play from quite a distance.
Amazon's still trying to get rid of the VITA bundle eh.
