I don't see how we'll be needing 1tb for a long-assed time. Only time I can see that happening is every episode and movie of Cowboy Bebop, lol. Maybe, though, after BluRay we'll be doing stuff like The White Stripes are doing, releasing crap on flash drives, I'd rather have a small cartridge than an effing disk that can get scratched up easily. Countless PS2 and PS1 titles, countless Dream Theater, Rush, Counting Crows, and Porcupine Tree CD's I've lost due to scratched disks! =[
I was just making an estimate about the 20 years thing, but what I'm saying is the fact that we get a 200gb disk, just duplicate the data and it can read it more, i don't really see a need to upgrade performance, BluRay is only, what? 2x? DVD's are much more than that in read times. Also, disk formats are upgradeable for read times, so... I don't think we'll be using that holographic disk thing. 1TB of space, or was it more? O_o?! I'm not really sure, haven't looked into it very recently, but...
Had Paramount not accepted Toshiba's(?) deal, I think HD-DVD could've been dead by Christmas, if not then at least by spring. Looks like next Christmas will be the end. I don't see why all these studios are backing HD-DVD. Is 51gb the max it can hold? If BluRay wins it could last for possibly 20 decades for all we know. Is it just me or does this game seem similar to Sonic Adventure 1&2 for the DC(greatest console of all time, IMO)? The only R&C I've ever played was this one, the demo anyways. Mostly what reminded me of it is when I killed the robots little animals(the fish things) would appear, and the rail grinding stuff. Good, a 9.4, this game could be the system seller that Sony needs. 400 dollar PS3 + R&C + Spidey BluRay bundle... Sony really should do that, it would really sell ALOT!! Too bad it would be kinda costly for them, but worth it.

That's most definitely true. But a voice recognition thing would be so effing badass its not even funny. Using the PSEYE kinda like a touch screen to pick out songs would be pretty sweet as well. I'm sure Sony could do something like this, but it would cost quite a bit of monies =X
I think it'd be great if we could organize playlists. And instead when i open up artist songs, it shouldnt give me every individual song, but also be organized by album. I hate having eveyr rush CD and Dream Theater CD on my PS3 and when im trying to find a particular song it takes forever. Also a search function by title or something would be really neat. LoL! Both sides, shut up. The reason the 360 ports are always better on 360 is because they're built off the 360s hardware NOT BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP ON PS3!! Its made to have all the graphics made on the GPU, not the RSX/Cell combo. This creates lag. The game is made to run on 3 cores instead of 8, so it has to send out info to the remaining 5 cores, creating lower resolutions and less polys etc. I honestly would like to see MGS4 go multi-plat so we can see how horrible it is on 360. 5 disk set...
I don't like halo but I have played halo 2, not much of a difference! =P ..not trying to be a fanboy... lol. I'd like to set up playlists on my PS3, is that possible? i havent looked at the music part in awhile. If/when there is custom in game sound tracks, are PS2 games able to do this? Still doesn't reach out to the ignorant. It's a cool ad if you know what the PS3 does, but what sony needs is showing the capabilities of Blu-Ray being a gaming format disk as well. Advertising Lair as a game.. they should show Folklore or something.. Also, they should say what Blu-Ray can do for the gaming side, rather than movies. Do side by side comparisons of DVD and Blu-Ray so consumers can know the difference.
