Im not sure if this is the 3D thing i've heard of, but what i did hear about the 3D player; It is kinda like a holographic projection, floats in mid-air O_o i'm not su5re though, but if it is, this could definitally be one of hte greatest technological achievements in history.... Mostly because you're not using those cardboard glasses that hurt your eyes when seeing something not made for them =(
Maybe its just me, or this game doesn't look that great. Maybe MGS4 gameplay video ruined it for me. These screenshots look a little bit like an upscaled SOCOM: CA.
I dunno, maybe I'm just not seeing them as they truly are. Still images don't do a game much justice(except for EA... damn cheaters). I'll wait to see it in motion before I rate it I guess.

Though i would like BioShock on the PS3, i wouldnt play it, but it'd be great for the console. I think this is just part of the earlier production and MS made them cut the production with all their $$$. I think sony needs to learn not to earn exclusives, but to pay atelast half for them =/ . Oh well, we have KZII and MGS4, so I'm happy. Others probably wont be happy if it doesnt end up on PS3.
If it ends up on the almighty PS3, it'll probably be christmas of '08 =/
Had Paramount pictures not have done HDDVD exclusivity, HDDVD could have been dead within the next few months... that is IF Universal does BluRay of course. Maybe whoever owns HDDVD(Toshiba?) and offered the 150mil to Paramount saw this coming, and wanted the war to be longer? Just an estimate, but seems possible.
But even I think thats badass.... very... badass...
I did add the LED's like the Wii has to my ps3, its on all the time and shares the power that the front LED's are using, looks pretty cool.

I didn't see the new fantastic four, but Live Free or Die Hard is definitally one of my favorite movies, along with 300 and Pirates 3.
I dont get why people didnt like pirates 3, I thought it was great!! Best of the 3, too much story? I believe that the format wars are important news for gamers. Not only will it determine the fate of the PS3, but also what the next format we'll be using in the next consoles. If PS3 or 360 didn't use the built in BluRay player or the HDDVD add-on then this probably wouldn't be news for us.
I suppose that the person who put up the Paramount going HDDVD exclusive means that an xbot posted it? I don't know who did, but it was still an important news article for the PS3.

Well, yes that, actually. But what im saying that makes a console next gen, is that it expanded from what the recent console was like. PS2 was just a DVD player and crap online(SOCOM was still great though, along with Area 51). The PS3 now has hella more than that. Nintendo added a bit better graphics with full motion sensing. 360 added just better graphics. What im saying that makes a console next gen is that it did much more than its recent gen of that console brand.

The reason im saying PS3 is next gen is because sony is attempting something new that no other console has done before, just like nintendo, except PS3 has more "next gen" stuff on it. Also the PS3 serves more than just a game console and a bluray player. Surfing pr0n sites in 1080p on a 73inch HDTV couldnt be any better =).... ok thats something for me. While the Wii may lack the outstanding hardware of its competitors, it offers what the casual, family buying consumer would want. Good, cheap, childish fun! Thats what the Wii is all about!
The reason why I'd say it's half-assed next gen is because the full motion sensing is something thats never been done before, at least not on a console. NextGen consoles have to be innovative to be considered next gen. Sony and Nintendo did just that. I know I'm going to get flamed for this...
I would think paramount would still make more money with bluray exclusivity =/. I bet if BluRay becomes the only format the prices would lower down to where HDDVD players are..
