All I hope from Sony at E3 is that they don't press the Psvr overview so much that they over-shadow it's main console games listings. I don't mind them mentioning psvr, but don't drag our faces on it. Just do a brief summary and then tell everyone to try it out on the show floor. Only If the originators, Naughty Dog is developing it. Anybody else doing it is a waste of time. This game been past to 7 different developer studios after Naughty Dog and the series just got weaker and weaker, sales got worse and worst until nobody wanted to be bothered with it, which is pretty much why the franchise died in the first place. If it's not ND, Don't even bother. Only ND can revive the Crash Bandicoot franchise.
I don't see Ps4 Neo as NO Damn PS5!! It's definitely a SuperCharged Ps4, because the majority of it's innards is still the same as the base model ps4, just changed to a smaller 14mn Finfet die and then up-clocked, memory is still the same type and capacity, but is also been up-clocked and Neo has another 512mb access towards. The only difference I see that the PC build has true "Reflections" on glossy floors, has better, stable frame-rates obviously, sharper shadows effects and higher contrast ratio, I actually prefer PS4's slightly "darker shade" and "richer color" dept, personally.

Short answer, it's and iterative upgrade of the Xbox One. Xb1 is iterative generation "0" or "1", depending how you look at it. Ps4 Neo is a iterative upgrade of the Ps4. No more generation cycles, just hardware upgrades of the same AMD *APU(*Cpu/Gpu), memory & HDD upgrades, but the software that runs them will always remain compatible. Forwards and backwards.
Maybe Xb1 does wins on this respect, Bucause the last time I checked, the Playstation 4 was a designed from the ground up to be a "CORE GAMERS CONSOLE" 1st and foremost and not an APPs console.

The PS4 was inferior to the X1 for a long time but still managed to sell more consoles due to the fact that PS owners knew that the third party games we're running st higher res and frame rate, and they knew thst their console was stronger.

The Scorpio is not a Xbox One upgrade it's an all out successor to XB1, ie an XBOX 4. Bill Spenser said he doesn't want an xbox one 1/2, but a flat out next-gen console. Ps4 Neo is not a ps4 successor, just a more powerful Ps4.
