I know THIS much, The TR reboot is Definitely inspired off the UC franchise. But also, it can be said that allot, if not all of the Uncharted series general "play mechanics" were influenced off the older TR series off Ps1/Ps2 era, with also some inspirations of "story telling" borrowed from movies like "Indiana Jones" and "Romancing the Stone".

Well, both companies has made admissions to console gaming as a service in the future.
Just imagine, both Sony and Microsoft decide and announced they wanted out of the "Hardware cycles Paradigm" every 3-5+yrs. Because it's just software is where the real money is. And getting rid of Hardware is removing the middleman. Both companies have their digital online gaming stores, PSN/SEN & MS/XBox store.

I have a PC, been Pc gaming since the mid 90's, but I also game on consoles. My Pc's current specs aren't the latest, greatest for running any of the current games. I see no reason why Devs can't design their games in a way that games can be changed visual/performace in settings similar to pc titles.
This is what current and future console needs, more pc-like Visial/Performance OPTION SCALER" for our games. And just allow Us, "the gamer choose." Some games are already doing it at some limited level. Like Project Cars, The Division & Ni-Hoh. But devs should step it up more to be how it is on Pc. Found this on Gamespot that explains some PCgame options I'd like to see devs do for console games moving forward.

Yeah, I know that the Xbone gets performance a little easier due to lower rez, it's gpu doesn't have to work as hard as the ps4 GPU running the same titles in higher rez, but it's also been proven that XB1/S's faster cpu cores also benefits it's in certain circumstances in cpu intensive gaming engines.
Good tech article Eurogamer, xb1 hold the performance due to faster clocked CPU cores (being that the Frostbite Engine is heavily CPU driven) and Ps4 hold the better visuals due to its stronger gpu, makes me wonder being that Mass Effect Andromeda will be using Dice's Frostbite Engine, I wonder if the base Ps4 version will run on the same 900p/1000p dynamic rez & Xbox1 900p/720p respectfully. Jeez, WHY people acting like this is news? Everyone here should've known By Now BOTH consoles going to struggle running any games off the DICE engine, Unity or Unreal 4 cuz those engines requires a fast performance CPU core which neither consoles have. Those pathetic Jaguar CPU cores are the biggest bottleneck of the gen of consoles hardware. The real thing is the Ps4 should be able to handle the Dice engine at 1080p/60 if the Ps4 had an Intel i5 or i7 CPU instead of those crap Jaguars...
Of course, not really surprising being it's the only current console with the cheapest 4k/hdr Blu-ray player on market.

The Graphics are beautiful, But I can clearly tell this footage is from the PC build and not the consoles. Don't bet on either consoles looking THIS CRISP & DETAILED.
