They've already said a control scheme similar to Gears of War is going to be in RE5. I think it's optional though.
It's not that you can simply walk away from the danger. It's that you are so overwhelmed by how many zombies there are. Being trapped in a city full of regular zombies and having to worry if when you turn the next corner there will a large group to eat you is WAY more exciting than a group of 10-15 marathon 2000 "zombies" that will throw stuff and run at you. With the slow ones you have to plan how to avoid the zombies and not get trapped/surrounded. Now you just charge in guns blas...

Most of the difficulty comes from only being able to shoot forward and jump up and down. You can't hide and regenerate health either. Plus every enemy in MM games likes to frantically move around you and stay locked on where you can't hit them but they can hit you (repeatedly). Learn to control your anger or invest in a few controllers is all i can tell you.

You would most likely get about $5 for a memory card. Gamestop very often gives you that much money for accessories.
