How can COD4 with 18 players maximum be better than Frontlines with 60 players? How come every COD4 game mode doesnt use the full 18?

Im getting both but Resistance has to compete with COD4, COD5, and eventually Killzone for my FPS funtimes. The only thing Gears will be competing against is Gears1.
This is why i know i am going to like Gears more, Resistance is another FPS and we've had loads of great ones already this generation. Im not that excited about another one, but i'll still get it. I'm looking forward to Gears2 because nothing compares to it in gameplay terms and the first was my favourite game this ...

this is only a list for 2008 games, the first Resistance doesnt really count.
I dont think GT5:Prologue should count either, as its not a full game.
Too Human wont be a 'big thing' and FF13 is too far off to even talk about yet.
Next 'big thing' on 360 are Gears2 and Left4Dead in November.
You only have to look at the sales for RPGs on the 360 to know that no one cares about them anyway.
WOW, lots of Sony owners like listing all the upcoming games.
At the end of the day i only care about what is coming int he next few months, not long lists of games that may or may not come out in 2009 or 2010.
Resistance2 and LBP will be great on the PS3, Gears2 and Left 4 Dead will be great on the 360, we all have a happy Christmas and play some good games.

you've missed a few. Lips on the 360 if you include Singstar on the PS3. Is hot shots golf a full title?
I'd count Left4Dead as its a console exclusive and should be big on 360 this year.
Halo Wars is due in October too.

its a weird list because the count some games as single games and some as the whole franchise. And WiiPlay confirms how poor the list is. People only got that to get a cheap controller
it means that they will only be available on the PS3. My main worry is that most of these games will be out in years to come, not 2008. I do wish Sony wouldnt announce things sooo early, makes us sit here teased for months on end.

i find playing Gears or COD4 online with mates much more fun that when i just had the option of single player in games like Doom and Wolf 3d. But then people sat round a TV playing Goldeneye or Super Off Road is even more fun.
I cant wait to see the Dante vs Nero made in SC4. I like the look of SC4 as i dont have a beat-em up except for Fight Night, and thats a bit different to the arcade style ones.
I was waiting for Tekken6 but now i might just get this while i wait.
