i doubt it will be as big as WOW. Even though i am looking forward to it, its not a game, its just a little 'home' to keep trophies, watch videos and meet up with friends. There might be things like chess or arcade cabenets but it will be like WOW.
does anyone know if your home party can be put straight into games.

i pay it and dont mind. I see it like SkyTV here in the UK. If you want to watch TV you can, 5 analogue channel and many more free ones on freeview. If you want a service above and beyond those then you have to pay for SkyTV or Virgin.
As long as XBL keeps getting updated i can see me paying for another year.
all these comments because of user generated content is only in LBP. Sorry but ive had that on my 360 for over a year in Halo3 and Forza. Its not that much different. Both consoles get it on Soul Calibur4. user generated content is already here.
Whats the big deal with LBP? Its a platformer where you can make your own levels? Doesn't sound great to me, looks great, but im holding out on it. Bit of a kids game i think. Plus it comes out near to resistance, pro evo and Gears2.
they should have included the levels made for the PC version to make it more appealing. Still the best game on the 360 though, in my opinion.

not all XBLA are HD,i have Street Fighter 2 and its not, nither is Contra. Most re-made games get HD upgrades though, like 1942Joint Strike, Commandos and Bionic Commando, i love the trailers they do for those games. They start em off with the old graphics then merge in the new ones to show you how awesome they've made it now.
i agree with fishy fingers. it didnt have the impact on the PC that it did have on the 360. Maybe the PC reviewers expected more as they were used to PC games and the other reviewers were used to console games.
I dont care at the end of the day the game was still awesome and my favourite game this gen. Bring on Gears2!

4. Resistance is another FPS, Gears is a TPS, they cant really be compared. Maybe compare resistance to COD4 or KZ2, but not Gears.
you forgot to add "in my opinion", because in my opinion uncharted had no mulitplayer and no co-op so can not be anywhere near as good as Gears, as i am still playing that 18months since release. uncharted has been out 6months? Who still plays it frequently?

no idea, i haven't bought a PC game for my PC for over a year. My mates buys quite a few PC games but i cant think if all games for windows games have acheivements.
Well, its more likely to be acheivements than cross platform play that was reported on another story.
yes probably, hence the 'games for windows' bit on the box reported yesterday. maybe more of the 50mil at work? Who knows? Who cares?
yeah i like the PSN games as there are some real quality titles there but i also love the way XBLA takes old arcade games and updates them with HD graphics and online play.
Both are good for different reasons.
trophies do work better but they are only available in a few games so far. They should have been compulsory from the start so when sony intro'd them all games could have them instantly.
This is why acheivements are still better, but trophies will eventually be better.
they better not cancel PROTOTYPE, its my most anticipated open world game. It makes inFAMOUS look quite boring and makes Mercs2 look tame.
I cant wait for it, but from what i saw it looked nearly finished, so hopefully it still gets released.
