who cares about the scores? This game is just gonna be too much fun on Friday and anyone without a 360 is missing out.
Its gonna be a great christmas to have a PS3/360 combo. Glad i passed on the Wii now.

I just find it strange you gave the online aspect 7.5 when the first was in the top5 XBL games for over 18months.

the reason gears is my most wanted game is for the multiplayer. i still play gears 1 multiplayer and nothing on my PS3 comes close. not even COD4 (which i got for 360 to play with mates) got me playing it as much.
Yes MGS4 uncharted and motorstorm are great games on the PS3 but they dont last as long as gears. i need a great multiplayer game for the PS3 but i cant see one coming except for resistance but thats another first person shooter and im nearly sick of them after caning them for...
no review will change how much i want this game, nor will any anount of jealous comments from PS3 fanboys.
Get both systems and see what you are missing out on!

2. Why take all thefun out of a game by playing the last level over and over just for an acheivement.

1. The smokes for airstrikes thing is fine, it would be too easy if they were all laser designated.
2. The story - you didnt miss much. Guy gets double crossed buy a big dictator who just took control of Venezuela. You are out for revenge and need to do things to find out where he is and kill him.

this could actually be done with some games like Viva Pinate and LBP, but i cant see this ever working on the games that require huge maps that take up over 500MB or 1GB of disk space.

you cant have played the first one. Yes these graphics look nice but Gears is all about the GAMEPLAY. The one button for nearly every movement works so well and i love playing it still.
it looks about 20%-25% the size of the map at the moment, so thats nice for a free update. Plus bikes and night racing - gotta love Criterion

We'll see if INfamous is as fun as this when they are both out. From what ive seen inFAMOUS invovles you having electrical powers PROTOTYPE you are a shape shifter with some crazy alien powers. I know which sounds more fun to me.
Just coz a games uses a whole Bluray doesnt instantly mean it will be good. And the fact a game is on a DVD9 doesnt make it bad either.

The Crackdown demo made me buy that, and the Dead Rising demo.
But then demos of Too Human and Turok completely turned me off those games and made me realise how bad they were going to be.
BETAS are a little different. The COD4 one was a huge success and got loads of people wanting more. Maybe the same could be said for the Halo3 one but i got bored with that quickly.
