So microsoft have done some marketing and are trying to get people to buy their version over the PS3, maybe Sony should do the same
yeah, the M$ points system is rubbish. I dont think i'll ever use the movie store but i'm glad it's there if i ever want it. Buying a 360 and renting one movie is probably half the price of a PS3 with a Bluray movie. (i dont use a wireless adapter and dont use wireless on my PS3). Did you know WiFi and Bluetooth are very similar frequencies to a microwave. I dont like the sound of that.

how much did your PS3 and the bluray cost you though? If you only had a 360 this maybe the only way to watch i am legend in HD for a low price.
This is in America, where no person is to blame for their own stupidity. its always someone else's fault. They probably left it on for more than 10 hours with no ventilation.

Whatever the DLC is, it will be big, $50 million doesnt buy you nothing.
I can see it being something like how Vice City stories was to Vice City, but not a whole new huge city.
Im getting the 360 version because of the pad and custom soundtracks first, acheivements and future DLC is a bonus. I cant see an advantage to the PS3 version yet.

Bluray is a big factor in selling PS3 (even though it was forced on us)

The PS3 is starting to come down in price
No big releases for the 360 yet in 2008, PS3 has had GT5:P to boost sales
My 360 survived being moved form my car, and even survived getting taken out of the box! It has survived 18 months of being played, getting dust on it and all sorts; just so it can control my mind.
I am of course talking about acheivements, which may be the biggest reason the xbox360 has such a large attach rate when compared to the PS3 and Wii. The noise of acheiving something as momentous as 'complete level one on easy' gets addictive and is not to be scoffed at.

4. Streaming? What are you on about? The PS3 needs install because BR drives are only one speed, a very slow one.
Why are all the arguements on here about the graphics, its the gameplay that counts and that's what makes Gears so good. Good graphics are a nice bonus
i've gone with GAME too, i usually get games a day early from them but we'll see
