When the Titanfall launched(not beta) xbl had 30 minutes of problems. PSN is allocated an hour, but any longer than that is further proof xbl is superior. This isn't even peak gametime, but they are reporting high volume. I'm sure sony will fix it though, they have a lot riding on this.
If it crashes tonight that is a very bad look for sony especially after charging people to improve the network.

Sony is said to be focusing solely on remastered games, indie games, and 2-3 year old pc games because they are less of a financial risk. In July 2014 Andrew House, current president of SCE, said he hopes to be more like Disney in terms of remastering old games.
I contacted Sony Corporation, but they declined to comment.

Your denial is strong, that same XB1 Destiny Ghost Edition sold out first on Amazon. It's looking like Xb1 might sell just as much as the ps4 version. That means it was pretty much be a wasted investment for sony, especially if the game become synonymous with xbox gaming going forward. Destiny is an online game and xbox is known for online gaming. Even though you may see a few twitter posts of angry fans, Bungie still has a nice following on xbox.
