Now that is where XB1 can turn the tide, if they have more story driven games. No doubt shooters will always be superior on the xbox platform, because of the controller and xblive, but ps4 has a lock on the single player story driven games. With Quantum Break coming out this fall, it can be the start of the story driven games for XB1. I love what I am hearing from Phil Spencer, he is leading xbox gaming in a wonderful direction.
I love the fact that ps4 fans love to debate about why the XB1 is inferior to the ps4, more than they actually brag about how great the ps4 is. I'll take my less powerful hub over "pure gaming machine" anyday. 93% of people don't care about minute differences. You mention same old, but Naughty dog releases an Uncharted every other year and Sucker Punch and Ready at Dawn are know for 2 games that got worse over time. This was a pretty pedestrian list, probably the worst lineup of the big 3. Also this list was filled with a bunch of delayed games, are you sure they are coming out this year. I think 2015 may be a better year for the ps4.

The more I read the more desperation I see, Ryse was a good game for a launch title. The reason XB1 games get so much attention is because their competition has only provided its users with indy and old ps3 games. ps4 fans can't have it both ways, you can't talk about how great KZ was for its graphics and average gameplay and then try to down Ryse when the exact same applies.
Lol XB1 could easily pull a cheap tactic like Sony if they really wanted to close the gap. With the ps3, Sony gave away the best selling game ever, outselling the 360 version by about 3 million because of it and boosting ps3 sales. All in all however you buy it, you are still supporting a Microsoft platform, so as an XB1 fan thank you for your support. I'm sure the resources from all sales will be used to fund or support the XB1 in some way.
COD is most likely done, people didn't enjoy Ghosts very much and COD will be competing with Titanfall, Destiny, and a Future Halo. I still enjoyed my experiences with MW, MW2, BO, and BO2.
I also enjoyed Ryse, I'm just happy XB1 fans are enjoying their launch titles. I don't trust reviews, I prefer to try thing out for myself, I especially don't user reviews with fanboys going in and giving XB1 games zeros for no reason. Ryse set the standard graphically for the next gen and it was a launch title, that's good enough for me.
Yea this isn't good, something is definitely wrong on the software side of the ps4. It sucks Sony is making fans wait until the Japan launch for an update. Too many reported bugs for the ps4 since launch.
Who are we kidding here this is n4g, nothing positive about XB1 can be said without being downplayed in some way. I guarantee if Destiny was an XB1 exclusive it would be called Halo on another planet, the same way Titanfall was called COD with Mechs after the announcement of it being a Microsoft exclusive. So ps4 fans really do want Titanfall, all that crap they talk is just the butthurt of it not coming to ps4. Respawn saw how the ps4 fanbase really is, so I bet that guaranteed money from MSFT will look a bit better after witness the vitriol of ps4 fans. Be happy, you guys have KZ to hold you over until Destiny, lol. Of course XB1 players will be able to play that one as well.

It seems for all the technological advances the d4 made, it took a giant step back in quality. The left analog wears really fast and the triggers stick. Sony definitely needs to make some adjustments to the quality. I will say it's an upgrade over the d's though.
