If there is any company out there that gives as much attention to detail and polish as Naughty Dog, it has to be Nintendo with their first party titles. While comparing Zelda to Uncharted is a very Apples to Oranges scenario, one must admit how perfect every Zelda game is.
In terms of popularity to its platform? Yes
In terms of graphics and technical accomplishments? A big fat NO.
I LOVE Gears, and I LOVE Uncharted. My two favorite series... *gasp* I know, its crazy huh? Someone can like both console exclusives.
Anyone who can say that Uncharted 4 is not impressive is a flat out liar.
Uncharted 4 looks like an amazing game, and I can't wait to play it.

Double the install base is correct. But look at the most popular and sold games on Xbox... Shooters. Now look at the most popular and sold games on Playstaion... RPGs and other Japanese games.
I would be willing to bet, even with half the install base, Law Breakers would sell better on X1.

It's always funny, and infuriating, to see journalists who clearly know nothing about Gears put their two cents on it.

I feel that the changes made to Gears for the beta, were just enough. I have yet to see a game that utilizes a full cover system so seamlessly, and with such fluidity. The changes to mantling cover only improve this claim.

The term beta has been so abused by the industry lately. "betas" coming out a month before the game goes gold. Beta has become the term that people affiliate with a demo, and not a tool used to test code, find bugs, check network load, etc..
This is the truest form of a beta this generation of consoles has ever seen. As Salooh mentioned, it is actually an Alpha build. So many things are going to change in the 5-6 months before the game...

I %1000 disagree with the author of the article ranking RE5 worse than RE6.
While RE5 certainly wasn't my favorite, I did really enjoy playing it online with my friends.
RE6 was an unplayable pile of garbage. Unrecognizable to the rest of the series. An absolute shame to the series, and the ONLY Resident Evil Game I never completed.
I simply can't imagine anyone preferring RE6 over RE5.

I can't figure out what is so difficult for some people to understand about the design of the X1.
The working bits of the console are about a quarter of the size of the entire unit. The rest is simply an enormous fan and void space to help drastically improve airflow. Microsoft knew making this console it would be turned on nearly non all day.
A slime console is the last thing on probably 95% of X1 owners/potential buyers minds....
