The touchpad is cool when implemented right. The only time it really annoys me is when I'm playing GTA. Sometimes my fingers accidentally touch the touchpad while I'm playing and my character switches her weapon in GTA. It's not a big deal but it is a tiny bit annoying.
On the other hand you have games like Infamous, Teraway, and LittleBigPlanet that utilize it very well.

I've noticed that too. Sony has always done a good job at appealing to lots of markets instead of just 1 or 2 markets and I gotta give them credit for that. PlayStation has always had very popular worldwide brand appeal even dating back to the PS1 days and things like this are the reason why.
I doubt Sony is having a press conference at PAX. They're attending PAX but their PGS conference is going to take place a day before PAX so they're most likely going to have booths and maybe 1 or 2 small surprises at PAX. This is still good news nonetheless.
So all in all Sony will be attending PAX, PGS, TGS and PSX this year. Damn.. Sony isn't playing around.

I never understood why people make it seem like Sony is the only company that copies. Am I going to criticize Apple, Samsung, LG and all these other phone companies and call them copycats for copying the IBM Simon which was the first ever touch screen phone? Every company copies.

3rd parties SHOULD take advantage of this feature but I doubt that they will. I think Microsoft 1st party titles will start utilizing this but I don't think a lot of 3rd party developers will. Idc either way.. I'm getting an Xbox One in 2016 to go alongside my PS4 so it's a win - win for me. If the Xbox One is really capable of this then 3rd parties should take advantage of this. I would hate for the Xbox One to hold back the PS4 so the same rule should apply in vice versa. It's only fair.
Tell me about it. I'm not naive to the fact that the PS3 and PS4's architectures are completely different and creating a PS3 emulator for the PS4 would be a living nightmare come true but the PS4 should have PS1 and PS2 backwards compatibility at the very least.
I agree. That developer is a good buy. They make good games and not too long ago I read that they only have about 13 developers working for them so they're a relatively small team as well. Buying them is low risk and high reward

This article makes it seem like Sony isn't going to have a PS4 slim which we know they will and let's be honest. The PS4 already won the generation. There's no denying it..
With that being said, honestly as a PlayStation guy I'm glad Microsoft has been getting aggressive. They need to start to making somewhat of a comeback. This 12 million lead that the PS4 has over the Xbox One is not good. Sony is starting to get cocky again..

The reason they're sticking with the PS3 is because a lot of these JRPG's are still coming out on the PS3 alongside the PS4. If games like Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess and Attack on Titan are still coming to the PS3 then the Japanese consumers are not going to buy a PS4 when they can just play the game on their PS3. STOP RELEASING GAMES ON THE PS3.
I agree. Some of the decisions Sony's been making lately has been making me scratch my head but I guess when you're dominating the competition and you're the market leader you can do whatever you want. I just hope Sony Isn't getting arrogant again because it seems like they are from the looks of it.
