The Wii has outsold the PS3 for over 2 years worldwide, get back at me when the PS3 does those numbers, until then this argument is moot.

There the bread and butter of the videogame industry, always have been.The balance has always been maintained due to consumer appeal but higher costs and minimum gains from the hardcore side of gaming have been put aside for profit.
Nintendo doesn't need to satisfy just the hardcore gamers scene.They need to find that balance so that the Wii can be truly a sucess.Third parties will have to also learn from their mistakes if they want their titles to be held within the same breath ...
