I think evryone here will agree that the amount of third party titles flooding the Wii this have been greater in quality then previous years.Nintendo has learned from its competitors mistakes last year that all titles must be spaced out evenly throughout the year to avoid potential bottlenecks during the hectic holiday season.
"A wider net catches more fish"
I read that blog/article expecting the same old elitist console BS but that was not the case this time around. He made some excellent points and he never once made the reader feel like the subject was forced upon you.I hope that he changes his mind about Nintendo and the Wii because the future is very bright for the little console that stands tall amongst giants.
I am neither hardcore or casual, I'm a gamer and I own a Wii.
Your last comment sounded more like whining then proving a valid point. In the future it would be best not to stoop to that level, your better than that. All of those games though inferior to their originals have found somewhat of a niché on the Wii.I guess they must sell well because those developers keep cranking out ports rather than have a dedicated team hand the Wii version.I enjoyed MOH:H2 much better than the PSP build but still it would've truly something special had it been built ...
Microsoft cares about its loyal fanbase and its marketshare. Why else would they shell out $50 million.Don't get mad just Sony just can't afford the exclusivity. You should be sending your complaints to Sony. Here's an example.
PS3 loyalists asks, "Why we don't have what they have?"
Sony replies, "We can't afford it right now.Money is tight and profits are in decline, manufacturing costs have skyrocketed.PS2 still doing good, I'll borrow some cash from her."...
I gave this guy the benefit of the doubt, heck I even read his little blog disguised as an article twice and you know what it lead to, more console loyalist BS.Strike one.I hope he realizes that although we play games for fun it is still a business and if a company shells out a couple million (50 to be exact) so they can get the jump on the competition to make their product more sucessful could you blame them.Strike two.Hell no you could'nt because 3rd parties like money and although they see...
it will go multiplatform. Its just good business sense.Sorry PS3 fans!
I remember the speculation, then the denial and the disappointment. Now we have come full circle with acceptance and praise.I wish more games were treated in this fashion.I have nothing but the highest of praise for EA for standing by the Wii.
I've played the game and although the media has been focusing mainly on graphics I believe that the gameplay matches them.In the short amount of time I've spent with the game what lured me in was the graphics but what kept me playing was the gameplay and ease of controls. The concept of the game may seem totally generic but what game nowadays is 100% original.I don't play FPS for story any way but multiplayer and that seems where HVG has placed all their cards.I can't wait til' June!
The only thing going for this game are the graphics.Everything you love from Sonic games has been raped and bastardized by adding Sonic's likeness to a mediocre action RPG hack and slash. No speed, no fun. This game deserves less than the score it recieved.Sonic & The Black Knight gets a 2/10.
How is this game going stack up against the juggernaut that is Virtua Tennis I'll never know.I guess I'll have to wait and see how this turns out.I heard Motion Plus makes this the rightful heir to the best tennis title after Wii Sports tennis.
By utilizing Monster Hunter engine they will probably give us a team survival horror game.8 player team multiplayer humans vs. Genetic freaks FTW!
I will be buying this game for sure.It (IpodTouch/Iphone) in no ways replaces the other handhelds but with increased quality of software I do see it nipping on the heels of the PSP very soon.
If the gameplay can reach the level that the graphics are in this game I'll buy this game in a heartbeat.I've never seen cel shading so true to the anime. Its unbelievabley gorgeous!
Why else would he troll Wii related articles with nothing but negative biased remarks aimed at a console he neither owns or has never played.
Back to the topic, Arc Rise Fantasia looks great!
Another great JRpg for the Wii.
While most gamers have scratched this one off due to gameplay preferences, I support EA in their decision to capitalize on the Wii sucess in the right direction. This game has quality written all over it and those who are still jaded should save their opinions until they have actually played the game.EA has my vote for best overall support of the Wii as a 3rd party this year.Good games Wii has and more are on their way this year.
Hating ass Sony cats took them when I refered to Lost Planet 2 as the end all be all 360 wise.
Brooklyn be the King.Bronx bow down and kiss the ring!
AD I own you and you owe me, now respect the King, for Boogie Down is weak!
AD you have met your match, cuz' you can't hold a candle to my skillz.
No way ya' Bronx bully cuz' BK my borough stay thorough, ya dig!
They need to release this A.S.A.P because apps like this will be reported to Apple, making this a rare app, if it is true...
Who would've thought that the "real game journalists" of IGN could've been so stupid to take rumor for fact.Nintendo hasn't released any confirmation on this and I'm sure that sort of press created was generated for the sole purpose of marketing.I expect Wii Resort w/ M+ to be released @ or weeks b4 E3 under the radar surprising all and giving the Wii a well deserved boost going into E3.
