Us fans of Squaresoft that have been around to see the golden era of RPG gaming are willing them to fail, because theyre lazy now...they focus on makign a quick buck rather than making a great game using the same formula they used to back in the 8bit an 16bit eras and even through the PS1 and PS2.
Square isnt "failing", they just dont hold their games to a high standard anymroe, and theyre getting the sales they deserve.

Theyre so blind to what their fans want ... its easy to tell they just want to stick to doing as little work as possible to gain a buck instead of doing some real work and trying to shine and hitting a home run.

Microsoft charges devs to patch their own games, charges indie developers more $ than SONY, SONY MATCHES their development cost if they dont make their money back with an indie release just to have new talent try to put their games out there and at least break even instead of lose money on an attempt at bringing a new type of game out there ...microsoft takes while Sony gives. Thats what it all comes down to. Yes they both have indie games, because itd be silly not to attempt to get a game ...

Gears is actually good, and so is Halo. When they defend crackdown, fable, and alan wake, i laugh.
360 focuses too much on advertising and focuses on the casual audiance more than the actual gamers because thats where they feel the money is.
M$ has lost sight of what made it a good gaming system, its been turned into a system with a CASUAL gaming focus.
The only thing thatll help the 360 in 2012 is to come out with more than 2 exclusives the whole
year, and at least TRY to compete with the ps3.

Lifetime sales of ps3 exclusives arent reached right away because they dont spend all their money on advertising like Microsoft. PS3 games sell on word of mouth and reviews. Which is why they sell steadily throughout the years. Whereas M$ games sell big the first few...

Its a ND game, and the engine's graphics look great...what else do we need to know about the game to be assured that its going to be good?

i agree the game did get better when it opened up like 35 hours later .... but it was still not a great game. I pick up and play it literally like once every couple of months ... im at the last boss right now, but iwant to getthe plat trophy..probably gona pick it up tomorrow for an hour or two ..

game looks amazing to me. Thats the great thing about ps3, different types of exclusive games for everyone, if you dont like 1 you get the other.

Whatever it is...just the fact that they mention every thing is "In game" and theyre showing us the whole "world" makes me think itll probably be a sandbox game or something along those lines that includes exploration and such. Im not excited, but im gonna watch the trailer for sure. Even if i dont watch the VGAs ill search youtube after it airs, itll be up'
R3 is the best in the series in my opinion, but were all entitled to our own.
I feel like they got hte atmosphere right, the story was great, and the gameplay was top notch.
