I wonder if having 3 different OS's will give hackers 3 opportunities to hack it. I mean with added complexity comes more opportunity for hackers.
I wish we could focus more on the positive aspects of have new consoles to choose from instead of bicker about why one is better than the other. Lets take a moment to thank Sony and Microsoft for not following in Nintendo's footsteps with their newest consoles.
They have their differences and that's great, if they didn't, and they were identical then whats the point of having 2? I prefer to have the option to choose which path i would like to take, or take both i...
Technically Sony is already doing this through Gaikai...
I thought i came up with Xbone, now i read articles using that term...
I'm a trend setter hahah...
I know there are a lot of knocks on the name, but "Xbone" in pretty sweet.
Pretty sure they are releasing an NFLcentric game for the Xbone.
I believe developers think they should get a piece of the second hand pie (sounds dirty) because if its an online, or multiplayer game, the second owner is using the servers of the developer without paying.
I believe they have an argument, but i don't think they should ever get away with charging full, or possible half price to the second hand player (also sounded dirty). 5 - 10 bucks maybe to have access to their servers and maybe a free DLC just to sweeten the pot. ...
I prefer this design. It can be stacked with all my other gear, provided it does not run too hot.
I hope Sony goes the same route as that is my preferred system at this time. I think most of the benefit of the Xone will be realized in the USA. As i'm not in the USA the PS3 looks to cater to my needs more (at this time).
I think the WiiU as a console has the same problem.
Cheats are still around, but now we pay to unlock them...
Sony has a patent for upgrading a console processor...

Was never used for the PS3 as there were no ports available to plug into, but the PS4 could have been designed to take advantage of this tech.
I think going BD would be the simplest solution. If Microsoft wants a 1 box solution as it will also play BD movies.
However, the dual sided thing gives another option. If they could design the Nextbox to read from both sides simultaneously then they could essentially double the read speed of the disks negating the need to install data to the HDD.
This would be cool also if Sony did this for the PS4 as that seems to be a limiting factor.
Then Knack will be a great option for you... But thats the point, Sony gives you lots of options.
I think it likely that developers will not block the streaming of a boss battle but will block the video sequence that beating him gives you. Or may block the final end sequence/video. I mean really, whats the point of going to all the work of beating a game if you've already seen the end...
I sometimes need a little help, or just a hint at whats need in order to get past a point. I usually only watch a bit which will give me an idea, then i try out what i think i need...
Ford is also using Fusion... and i think the fusion has sync available... from Microsoft hmmm
the dual shock 4 has the PS Move light on it so technically its built in. You would not need to hold both to have the functionality of both.
Constant innovation doesn't come cheap. Rolling out the same product for 6 years is how console makers turn a profit in the first place. There is little to no r&d once a console is released, only in making hte chips smaller, more efficient and cheaper.
DVD's can limit how big an open world is.
Computers can use DVD's because they all get installed to the HDD. They are highly compressed on the disk. (Windows 7/8 comes on 1 dvd but takes up like 30 gigs).
Joakim is an ananagram for Kojoma (same letters different order) someone else foirgure out what Mogren is ... Morgen?
Typical Kojima
I think therein lies the solution for used games. First time buyers have access to all DLC for free, if you buy used you must pay for DLC.
