Bingo. Peoe act like this is some new feature. The 360 was so good with so many features I was severely disappointed basic things were missing.
Can you listen to custom background music while playing? Day 1 tried to listen to my music during forza, no dice.
Tried so snap in Pandora from the browser and could listen but with the screen snapped and game minimized. Is that fixed?
This new Pandora app hopefully will work in background...
Capital cost depreciation - divide the cost of console by the years of use. Prob $65 to 90 depending on how many years you use it.
So if you wait for the cost to come down 50-100 that is 1 year anyway, you didn't save anything...
Buy earlier and spread the cost over more years.
Be happy on last gen, I've been 4k gaming for 2 years and I still go back to ps3x360 all the time.
I've been able to adjust my eyes and it's the first gen I can continue to go back to.

Never had an issue with either, course I have 350 games on steam and a dozen on origin. One of the few things in tech life that doesn't jack up for me...
I've seen all of these cheaper so not a big deal.
Those games are not $300, each has been much less. Around a third of that would be closer, still great for those jumping in.
I sold mine for a ps4 and quickly started looking for a ps3. Finally got a 500gb and brothas! I love that joker so many backlogged and never experienced games.
Multiplats got to my 4kpc but I can still dig old games.

With gfx-gate being a PR blow, a fix for that could be to connect a win10 pc to the x1 and magically get a boost in processing on the x1 games? I'll slap myself now for u.

It's a mini game to me too...I compare 4kpc to consoles just for the experience of it.
Yea I've gotten killed on buying these x1 downloaded games...everyone I buy and play for 5 min ends up free.
That's it, I'm done in 2015. No purchases.

You need a 4k screen and near double the rendering power to make this gamer friendly, which would be $400.
Sony can't charge much more than a move and camera for people to bite.

$400 is the number that the gamer market responds too. Soccer mom's number is much less, maybe $200.
The gamer group that bought the $400 ps4 will not be ready to do another $400 in 2 years just to get mass effect 4 and ac6 with a bit better gfx than a ps4.
Then Sony will leak ps5 and the gamers will say I'm saving the 400 for true next gen.
