Is this to lock the first use with the original buyer so that the disc can’t be sold privately? If so I’m not buying
Good in that they are free and if I somehow ran out of games to play and money to buy more I'd love to have the free collection they gave me. But with 800 games owned on steam, origin, ubisoft, gamepass, 100s on consoles, a new console gen imminent and backlog that I'll never finish I think the gift was basically here add some more shit to the pile I'll ever get to.
I tried to fix two x1 controllers but failed, it just looked easier on yt and I’m inexperienced. I’ve built several cpu systems and that was easy but anything with soldering and I’m inexperienced. I failed at replacing a tv chip, it was so small but on yt looked much bigger and easier.
Now my x1x hdmi broke in less than 2 years and it’s $250 to send to MS. I’m contemplating spending the time and money to figure it out but my confidence is low that I’ll succeed.

I clicked on the article and seen a pic of what I assume is of the game of some creepy weird doll baby mash up faces in crazy over the top costumes, that art style does nothing but remind me I'm wasting my time playing video games.
If I can at least have an art style that pulls me in I can justify to myself wasting hours at a time playing with my little GI Joe figures on screen. Even Nintendo style does this better than the jrgp horeshit with a 35 foot sword.

Considering it’s pedigree that’s not a surprise, the wow moments decades ago with bullet time shooting and jumping back then in that period was the best for me.
I’ve pondered if the delay between 2 and 3 caused new gamers to have missed the first 2 when they were great for the time period and then 3 just shows up for the new generation and it fell flat since no connection was established.

Well that’s a problem because those that don’t know what they’re looking at do look into their wallet.
Just like those who watch TVs on vivid mode you can’t convince them, and if they like it so what. Same goes if they don’t see much of an improvement on ray tracing and such.
During the Sony show I immediately glanced at the trees to see the new generation and damn, in the background where I suppose they think we don’t look I saw a kinda blocky improved shitty tree once again.
Of course sim and immersion is top notch but fix the trees by now.
After buying ps4 on release I looked at the games and I could play the multiplats on pc or Xbox and after a few missions in killzone, that was not worth the profit of me selling it and picking up killzone used later.
